  1. goal

GOAL: Millwall 0-1 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Joey Pelupessy (42 mins)

The Owls are ahead, and it is a fine strike from Joey Pelupessy.

The Dutchman receives the ball on the edge of the box on the left hand side.

Millwall are appealing for an offside, but nothing is given.

Pelupessy cuts back onto his right foot and drifts outside of the box before unleashing a peach of a shot, which curls inside the far post.

A fine way to open his account for Wednesday.

  2. goal

GOAL: Brentford 2-0 Birminghampublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Florian Jozefzoon (41 mins)

The Bees double their lead in west London.

Blues defender Jason Lowe is caught in possession and the hosts have a three-on-two.

The ball is worked out to Florian Jozefzoon and although the Dutchman goes round David Stockdale to the left and narrows the angle, he turns the ball home never the less.

Brentford in control with just four minutes left before the break.

  3. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 1-1 Hullpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Evandro (41 mins)

That's a stunning first-time finish from Brazilian Evandro.

The midfielder slams Jon Toral's corner in from the edge of the box to level for Hull.

    Big goal for the strugglers.

    Who will be relegated? #bbcefl

Tom Whelan: Forest in danger of getting dragged into the mire. Lots of new signings halfway through the season, could be close.

Tony Bellamy: Haway the lads. Big must win for Sunderland. Lets home they've left their home form on Wearside

  5. goal

GOAL: Aston Villa 0-1 Prestonpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Tom Barkhuizen (37 mins)

    Disaster for Aston Villa!

Keeper Sam Johnstone tries to punch the ball clear, but only succeeds in launching the ball up into the air.

Tom Barkhuizen takes full advantage of the error, leaping acrobatically and planting an overhead kick into the net. Lovely stuff.

  6. goal

GOAL: Nottingham Forest 0-1 Readingpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Omar Richards (35 mins)

How about this for a first professional goal?

Omar Richards unleashes a thunderous strike through a crowd of players and beyond goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon to give Reading the lead at Nottingham Forest.

    Millwall 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

The Lions almost break the deadlock in south east London, but Lee Gregory flashes a shot narrowly wide.

The hosts are very much on top with about 10 minutes to half-time.

  8. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Barnsley 0-1 Burton

    Look at that, a shot!

It's not a good one, but at least Barnsley are showing a little bit of intent.

Joe Williams has a go from a long way out, the ball flying some distance wide of goal.

  9. goal

GOAL: Bolton 1-0 Sunderlandpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Zach Clough (17 mins)

Bolton take the lead in the relegation six-pointer.

Filipe Morais' free-kick from the left is poked home by Zach Clough from just in front of Black Cats keeper Lee Camp.

That could be a massive goal for Wanderers.

  10. goal

GOAL: Brentford 1-0 Birminghampublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Ollie Watkins (31 mins)

Brentford have the breakthrough at Griffin Park!

It's Ollie Watkins who finds the back of the net, to score his first goal in 13 games.

He shoots low from about 25 yards out and although David Stockdale gets a hand to it, it rolls into the back of the net.

The Blues keeper may well be unhappy with that one.

    Bolton 0-0 Sunderland

There have been few openings in the first 13 minutes at the Macron.

The visitors have come closest, as Ashley Fletcher's ball across the box is just missed by Joel Asoro at full stretch.

  12. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Reading

After an end to end start, it's gone a bit cagey in Nottingham.

Forest are having to do more of the defending, with Costel Pantilimon having to deal with a tricky Modou Barrow cross and Danny Fox blocking a Chris Gunter effort, but there's not been any clear-cut chances.

Forest, remember, are searching for their first goal since 27 January tonight.

  13. goal

    Three goals now!

It's been coming for the hosts.

Leon Clarke flicks on a corner and defender Richard Stearman swoops at the back post to steer the ball in.

    Sheffield United 0-0 QPR

Billy Sharp has to do better there.

The Blades striker brushes off Nedum Onuoha and is clean through on goal, but he tries a clever chip and it's off target.

Midway through the first half at Bramall Lane - goalless. Few goals around anywhere at the moment.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Preston

Apologies for the lack of updates from the game at Villa Park tonight, but there just hasn't been much to update you on.

Birkir Bjarnason's long-range effort remains the only shot on target.

Ben Mountford: As a #bcfc fan I’d hate to see it but I can see us needing three points when Fulham come to town on final day. Sunderland are woeful and Burton also. No great escape for Birmingham this year!

    Brentford 0-0 Birmingham

Two chances for the Blues at Griffin Park.

First Cheikh N'Doye sends a low shot across the face of goal and wide from the left flank and then home keeper Daniel Bentley has to rush out of his goal to foil an angled drive from Sam Gallagher.

The Blues have only scored 22 league goals this season, but they look in the mood this evening.

Rudy Gestede does not miss from there.

Patrick Bamford cleverly flicks a cross from the right into the big striker's path, and unmarked on the edge of the six yard box he nods the ball in.

    Simple as they come.
