Charlton are 2-0 ahead away at Northampton, in Lee Bowyer's second game in caretaker charge of the Addicks.

Goals from Ben Reeves and Tarique Fosu have given the Addicks a comfortable advantage.

Northampton have not won any of their past seven league games, and started the day two points from safety in League One.

Meanwhile fellow strugglers AFC Wimbledon, who are two points above the drop zone, have gone behind at home to John Sheridan's Fleetwood.

Elsewhere, there is an injury concern for Shrewsbury defender Toto Nsiala in their match at Rochdale. He's received lengthy treatment after getting injured in an aerial challenge.

    Cardiff 1-1 Burton

Cardiff are pushing Burton back into their own half. The Brewers are overly casual as they try to play out from defence.

NIgel Clough's strugglers have been excellent so far, but they simply cannot afford to gift Cardiff a goal.

Moments later, visiting keeper Stephen Bywater has to be alert to save a Sean Morrison header.

    Barnsley 1-0 Bristol City

Barnsley have definitely started the better of the two sides at Oakwell, and Kieffer Moore's early goal is a crucial one at both ends of the table.

It damages City's play-off chances and lifts the Tykes three points clear of 22nd-placed Birmingham, who play Ipswich tomorrow.

Third placed Wycombe go to Notts County, who are four points adrift of the Chairboys.

At the wrong end of the table, bottom club Barnet host Crewe and 23rd-placed Chesterfield travel to a Port Vale side who are five points and two places above them in the table.
