GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 Prestonpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Fernando Forestieri (90+5 mins)

A delicious free-kick on his return after seven months out of the Sheffield Wednesday side.

Fernando Forestieri is back with a bang.

    Norwich 0-2 Fulham

Fulham see out six minutes of injury time with relative ease to secure the points at Carrow Road.

Fulham scored twice in four minutes after the break to earn the win. Clinical stuff from the west London side, who keep the pressure on the top two.

    League One update

    Massive goal in League One.

Struggling Rochdale are 2-1 up at home to promotion-chasing Shrewsbury after Steve Davies netted an overhead kick.

There's still about 10 minutes left plus stoppages remaining at Spotland.

  7. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Cardiff 3-1 Burton

Burton were probably the better side before the break, but played their own part in both of Cardiff's goals and were then just outclassed by a much-improved home side.

I would hazard a guess that Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock was not a happy camper at the break and told his players so.

It worked. Cardiff keep the pressure on leaders Wolves, who play later.

  8. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 Prestonpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Atdhe Nuhiu (90+2 mins)

Sheffield Wednesday seal all three points with Atdhe Nuhiu's second of the game, a fine curling shot into the top corner with his left foot.

Preston's play-off hopes take a dent with defeat at Hillsborough.

  9. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol Citypublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Josh Brownhill (90+1 mins)

A cruel blow for struggling Barnsley as Bristol City equalise in stoppage time!

Josh Brownhill loops a header towards goal from 15 yards and it nestles in the corner.

    Cardiff 3-1 Burton

As mentioned, Stephen Bywater has not covered himself in glory but he makes a good save to deny Cardiff substitute Gary Madine from making it 4-1.

We are into the first minute for four added minutes now. Looks like job done for Neil Warnock's side.

    League Two update

Two big goals at the bottom of League Two.

First Ben Whitfield restores 10-man Port Vale's lead at Chesterfield and then John Akinde puts Barnet 2-1 up at home to Crewe with his second penalty of the afternoon.

And Ollie Palmer has the ball in the net for Lincoln.

This one does stand and the Imps lead Exeter 3-2 at Sincil Bank.

    Norwich 0-2 Fulham

There's some decent pressure by Norwich as they look for an unlikely draw at Carrow Road.

Wes Hoolahan's creativity almost sets up a chance for Nelson Oliveira, but Fulham look set to see this out without too much strife.

That quickfire double from Stefan Johansen and Tom Cairney looks to be enough for the three points.

    Norwich 0-2 Fulham

Norwich have less than 10 minutes to salvage something here. They have just made their third change to mix things up.

Nelson Oliveira and Wes Hoolahan replaced Dennis Srbeny and Alex Tettey a few minutes ago and now Marcus Edwards comes on in place of Mario Vrancic.

One goal each would do nicely for the hosts. Can't see it, though.

Fulham look solid and full of confidence, but they did throw away a two-goal against QPR at home not that long ago...

League One and League Two update

Charlton are really enjoying life under caretaker manager Lee Bowyer.

The Addicks are on course for a second consecutive win under the former Leeds midfielder, as Northern Ireland international Josh Magennis puts them 4-0 up at Northampton.

In League Two, the madness continues at Sincil Bank.

Jake Taylor drilled into the bottom corner for Exeter to make it 2-2 against Lincoln.

Then the hosts thought they had restored their lead through Ollie Palmer moments later. But, after the striker ran the length of the field in celebration, the goal was disallowed.

Elsewhere, play-off hopefuls Coventry have equalised at Newport through Maxime Biamou.

    Cardiff 3-1 Burton

Darren Bent's last involvement is to see a shot well saved by Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge.

At 3-2 things could have got nervy.

The former England striker makes way for Joe Sbarra. Burton need a goal very soon to have any chance here.

    Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Preston

    Fernando ForestieriImage source, Rex Features

It's difficult to know how different things would have been for Sheffield Wednesday had one of their main men, Fernando Forestieri, been free of injury this season.

He's off the bench for his first appearance since August.

    Cardiff 3-1 Burton

Cardiff are still in control against Burton, who have been a shadow of the side they were in the first half.

Stephen Bywater has had a stinker in goal for the visitors, but has also had to make several decent saves.

Gary Madine, Junior Hoilett and Marko Grujic have all gone close to adding to the lead.

  18. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 2-1 Bristol Citypublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Brad Potts (78 mins)

Barnsley restore their lead and are going to move three points clear of the drop zone if they can hand on to the advantage given to them by Brad Potts, who turns home a cross from 10 yards.

    A superb finish.

League One and League Two update

Graham Carey has missed out on a hat-trick for Plymouth after blazing a penalty against the bar against Southend, but the Pilgrims are still 3-0 ahead.

In League Two, Jamie Devitt has put Carlisle ahead at Cheltenham from the spot.

United wil be four points off the play-offs if they can hold on.

    Norwich 0-2 Fulham

    Stefan JohansenImage source, Rex Features

That was two goals in four minutes for Fulham, who are keeping the pressure on the top two.

And they also have Ryan Sessegnon on the pitch now. The teenager, one of the stars of the Championship this season, was rested but is now doing his thing down the left flank.

No respite for Norwich, but the hosts do threaten through Josh Murphy's low strike which goes across the face of the goal.
