Sam Allardyce responds to a defeat at Arsenal in which he called his Everton side "pathetic" by making four changes to his side. Seamus Coleman returns to replace Jonjoe Kenny, Morgan Schneiderlin is replaced by Wayne Rooney, Gylfi Sigurdsson is in for Yannick Bolasie and Tom Davies starts for Ashley Williams, meaning it will be a back four for the Toffees.

Everton XI: Pickford, Keane, Rooney, Walcott, Mangala, Martina, Gueye, Sigurdsson, Niasse, Coleman, Davies.

Crystal Palace love this away fixture - it's given them more wins than at any other Premier League ground. Manager Roy Hodgson makes two changes, one of which serves us up a debut. The floodlights are on early at Goodison Park. It is a very grey day on Merseyside. The atmosphere is yet to build in the murk. You can hear Everton v Crystal Palace on BBC Radio 5 live from 15:00 GMT and also here on the BBC Sport Sport website and app.

I hope you can feel the positive vibes but last night BBC Radio 5 live was awash with Evertonians wanting an end to the short Sam Allardyce era.
