Johnny Magrinho: My mate’s at the game tonight, said his ticket cost him £18. Sent me a few videos from inside the stadium and it’s absolutely buzzing. Looks like United are up for this and will give Cardiff a game tonight. Fancy a narrow 2-1 home win.

Can't really argue with £18 in this day and age, Johnny - let's hope he gets his money's worth and we see some goals...

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Cardiff

Marko Grujic's shot from outside the box is deflected towards goal by Kenneth Zohore, but the Cardiff striker is offside so it wouldn't have counted, even if Blades keeper Simon Moore hadn't been there to make a diving save.

In case you missed the snow in the Steel City, there is snow piled up behind the goals at either end. They did well to get this game on at Bramall Lane.

It's been raining this evening though, and - although the rainfall has stopped for now - the playing surface is pretty wet.

By the way, Cardiff boss Neil Warnock hasn't managed against his former club Sheffield United at Bramall Lane since August 2010, when his QPR side won 3-0 in the Championship.

David Brooks almost plays in Leon Clarke in the area after a quick counter, but Cardiff intercept the situation well.

The ball eventually comes out to the hosts' Lee Evans outside the box, but he curls his effort over the bar.

There hasn't been much to report since John Lundstram's early chance for the hosts. Cardiff are playing the game in Sheffield United's half for now though.

The Bluebirds have taken 31 points from their 18 away league games this term, which is their best return at this stage of a season since 2002-03, when they were promoted from the third tier via the play-offs. Impressive.

Sheffield United make three changes, with Wales' Lee Evans and David Brooks coming in to add a bit of spice.

The other switch is enforced as keeper Simon Moore replaces the suspended Jamal Blackman.

Visitors Cardiff make one change, with Aron Gunnarsson replacing Craig Bryson.

Sheff Utd XI: Moore, Baldock, O'Connell, Stearman, Evans, Stevens, Basham, Lundstram, Fleck, Brooks, Clarke.

Cardiff XI: Etheridge, Manga, Morrison, Bamba, Bennett, Gunnarsson, Grujic, Paterson, Hoilett, Mendez-Laing, Zohore.

  16. What could happen to the table?published at 19:38 British Summer Time 2 April 2018

Sheff Utd v Cardiff (19:45 BST)

At this stage of the season it's all about what each result means in terms of promotion, play-offs and relegation - so what could change tonight?

A win for Cardiff would move them 10 points clear of third-placed Fulham and within a victory of leaders Wolves - with both of those teams in action on Tuesday.

With Bristol City, Middlesbrough and Millwall all slipping up earlier, Sheffield United know they'll move into the final play-off spot with three points at Bramall Lane.

The EFL schedulers have arguably left us the best match until last on this bumper Easter Monday.

Cardiff are hot favourites to join Wolves in the Premier League and Sheffield United could yet still join them via the play-offs, despite their chequered form.

We *should* see a positive, free-flowing game between two sides striving for the 'promised land'.

It's been a great effort from Portsmouth. It's been the type of performance fans want to see week-in, week-out from this side. If there was any game the supporters wanted to win at home this season, this was it.
