    Romelu Lukaku

    Man Utd

    Lead. Doubled.

It is clinical stuff from Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian runs almost the entire length of the pitch to score.

The striker starts the move from his own area, passing it out to Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean then has the skills to hold the ball up and play it through to his team-mate.

Like his first goal, Lukaku holds off a home defender and slides a low finish past Jonas Lossl.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Man Utd

Philip Billing is the man this time, winding his left foot up, but hits it straight into the mid-riff of Nemanja Matic in the wall.

Billing has another pop but cannot find a way past the Serbian again.

    United break...

Another free-kick for Huddersfield and Danny Williams tries to burst clear but is clipped by Alexis Sanchez 25-yards out, dead centre.

Ex-England manager on BBC Radio 5 live

United haven't sorted out stopping Huddersfield's right-hand side.

So many of their opportunities have come down that side.

United are getting blocks and headers in. They are defending very well but they have to do more when they are out of possession.

  6. CLOSE!published at 51 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 Man Utd

Tom Ince's driven free-kick takes a nick off the ball and falls nicely for Rajiv van La Parra in the box, but the Dutchman slices his attempt.

What a chance that was, he was only seven-eight yards out.

Huddersfield are continuing the second half like they played throughout the first, making inroads down the right-hand side.

David Bushell: Didn't know VAR stood for Complete and utter guesswork.

Adam: I don’t think I can watch FA Cup on the basis that VAR causes my blood pressure to go through the roof.

Gorg Ed Hidar: Another failure for VAR - Mata was level (i.e. onside) and the blue lines on the pitch didn’t even look like they were drawn straight. Robbery.

I don't want to talk about VAR, but unfortunately it has cast a gloomy shadow on this game.

    Will there be an "inquest"?

Just seen the freeze frame they used at the VAR HQ. The line for deciding offside (and the others) aren't parallel with the lines on the pitch... that's just incompetent.

    Tony in Manchester

I thought the whole point of this technology was to get the decision 100% right, 100% of the time? That was a clear goal.

    Joe Dempsey, Lancs

The linesman kept his flag down so VAR has been used to change a correct decision to an incorrect decision. Bizarre!

I am looking at the replay of Juan Mata's disallowed goal again.

VAR official Neil Swarbrick has not even got his squiggly lines straight. In fact, they are not even parallel to the 18-yard line!

So VAR comes into it big time.

United have a goal chalked off.

Mourinho had a long discussion with David Wagner before the decision but seems reasonably calm on the touchline.

James Dale: Anyone who doesn't think this is too long needs to quit football and find another sport. Ruining the game.

Michael Reid: I wonder if the referee is also going to add on the three minutes it took for a decision to be made because of the VAR?

Thomas Measures: What a joke VAR is. Should be only be there to overturn obvious decisions.

We've got the correct score at half time. Without VAR it would have been incorrect

As managers, we are looking for VAR to get the major decisions right.
