  1. 'Hogg should have gone'published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Swansea

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

The more you see it, the worse it gets. Hogg should have been sent off as well. The fourth official was right next to it so how hasn't he seen it? Ayew was down on the floor having treatment for a few minutes so there was plenty of time for him to talk to the referee.

  2. One-way traffic...published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are defending for their lives at Huddersfield. Aaron Mooy clips a cross in which Martin Olsson glances away. The ball comes straight back in, fine header away by Federico Fernandez.

if you are just joining us, Swansea are down to 10 men after Jordan Ayew was sent off. He contested a 50-50 ball which saw both he and Jonathan Hogg hurt, though when Ayew got to he feet, he was dismissed.

    Amrul Choudhury: Kenedy for Presidency?

Graham Green: I hope Southampton enjoy being back in the Championship next season. They are certainly doing everything they can to get back there. Shambolic again today.

David Ljunggren: This Southampton side look as though they are down already. They can't pass, can't shoot, can't run.

  4. 'Brilliant Newcastle goal'published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Newcastle United 2-0 Southampton

    Michael O'Neill
Northern Ireland manager on BBC Radio 5 live

Absolutely brilliant goal. Florian Lejeune clears it and Lemina misses the header. Perez does briliantly, runs 60 or so yards with the ball.

He's aware Dwight Gayle is running with him, gives it to Gayle, and he unselfishly passes to Kenedy to score. Brilliant goal by Newcastle.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Mat Ryan dives to his right and turns a cracking Gylfi Sigurdsson effort away with one hand. The shot is from the right side of the area and a very narrow angle but the fact bodies were racing in on Ryan's goal meant he had to be ultra alert.

  7. goal

GOAL - Newcastle 2-0 Southamptonpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Kenedy (29 mins)

How to concede a goal from your own attacking corner, by Southampton.

It's woeful from Saints, who are hit by a counter that results in Kenedy getting his second of the game. Mario Lemina misses his kick on the edge of the Newcastle area and, 10 seconds or so later, the home side are two up after Kenedy finishes good work by Dwight Gayle and Ayoze Perez.

Penalty shout for the Hammers as Aaron Lennon leaves an arm out which a cross strikes. Up go the shouts. Nothing doing.

Joao Mario has started solidly for the home side, completing 100% of his nine passes, with one of them being deemed 'key' by Opta.

He was one of five changes made by David Moyes, who as the graphic shows, is seeing his side better the territory so far.

  9. 'Southampton taking risks'published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Newcastle 1-0 Southampton

    Michael O'Neill
Northern Ireland manager on BBC Radio 5 live

Classic Southampton. They lose the ball in a poor area, Dwight Gayle get clear and gets off the shot, possibly should have done better.

Southampton are taking risks at the back with some of their play and Newcastle are getting chances.

  11. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Newcastle 1-0 Southampton

Southampton have been woeful, barely getting out of their own half. This latest let-off involves giving the ball away just outside their own 18-yard box, with Dwight Gayle only shooting straight at Alex McCarthy.

The touch maps at Everton tell the story of the opening exchanges as Brighton (right) have not yet touched the ball in the Everton area.

Do you need to though? Glenn Murray has a dig from range and Jordan Pickford has to turn the stinging shot over.

  13. 'Great strike by Vardy'published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    West Brom 1-1 Leicester

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Vardy just went and the ball from Mahrez is that good that Vardy doesn't need to look at the goal. He just watches the ball over his shoulder, strikes it cleanly and hits the back of the net.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Everton inches from taking the lead as a Gylfi Sigurdsson's corner to the back post catches Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan out as he misses his punch. Yannick Bolasie is under pressure but just dangles a leg out as the ball drops and his touch ripples into the side netting.

Four shots on goal for the home side, none for the away.

  15. Blood drawn...published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Burnley

Michail Antonio cuts in from the left flank for West Ham and sends a dipper into the hands of Nick Pope. It's a quiet start by Burnley in London, though Ashley Barnes has been in the wars having clattered his nose in a collision to draw blood. A new shirt needed.

  16. goal

GOAL - West Brom 1-1 Leicesterpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Jamie Vardy (21 mins)

It's a day for cracking goals and Jamie Vardy is in on the act, keeping up his run of scoring against West Brom and leveling for Leicester. It's so Leicester-like, the sort that won them the title two years ago. Riyad Mahrez, in his own half, picks the run of Vardy, who is on the shoulder of the last defender. As the ball drops over his shoulder, Vardy puts the laces of his left boot through it, first time, nestling the ball into the bottom corner. Mere mortals wouldn't even make contact.

  18. 'Early goal calmed down Newcastle'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Newcastle United 1-0 Southampton

    Michael O'Neill
Northern Ireland manager on BBC Radio 5 live

The early goal has allowed Newcastle to sit in with two banks of four and counter attack. Southampton have been casual in possession at times and Newcastle will be trying to exploit that.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are up against it here. Shortly after Alfie Mawson goes into the book for a late tackle, they suffer a close scare as Christopher Schindler gets up in the box to head fractionally wide for the home side.

Huddersfield have had 75% of possession in the opening 20 minutes.

  20. 'Change it up'published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Newcastle 1-0 Southampton

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

When you're down at the bottom, you've got to play percentages. Shelvey put it into the box and they scored. Even if you've been playing well, if you're near the bottom of the table then it's not worked. Change it up. More teams that are struggling should do that.
