This game sort of reminds me of Sevilla v Manchester United (bar the scoreline) - AC Milan have had lots of shots, but most of them haven't been very good. It's not too difficult to shoot wide from 25 yards.

Arsenal have dealt pretty comfortably with everything that Milan have thrown at them in this second half and in all honesty that hasn't been much.

David Ospina hasn't had a shot to save and Giacomo Bonaventura should have done better with his first-time effort early in the half that he smashed over the bar.

The Milan fans seem to have had their passion doused as well, only saving their noisiest for when they feel Arsenal are time-wasting at the restarts.

Arsenal won 2-0 here in the Champions League in 2008 and at the moment they're on course to repeat that feat - and at a time when their manager needs it most.

While Milan go more attacking, Arsenal try to shore things up. Mesut Ozil, who assisted both goals, is replaced by defender Rob Holding - who immediately blocks a Giacomo Bonaventura shot for a corner.

Speaking of ex-Livepool men... Milan have just brought on forward Fabio Borini for defender Davide Calabria.

Suso should score. Ricardo Rodriguez's cross finds the ex-Liverpool man - who has time to compose himself and then takes a shot so bad it goes for a throw-in.

More good defending by Ainsley Maitland-Niles of Arsenal to deal with Davide Calabria after Suso sent him down the right wing.

Amrul Choudhury: Arsene Wenger will stay on because of this result. I can sense horror on the faces of Arsenal supporters.

Vic Van Den Bergh: We all know Wenger’s reign is coming to its close, so why not stop the whining and concentrate on the team who are winning? Remember Rioch and be thankful for the Wenger years!!

Milan are definitely edging this second half but with no real precision. Arsenal don't look under that much threat - although they're not doing loads going forward themselves. This scoreline of course hugely suits them. No point risking it all to go for a third surely.
