This could become embarrassing for Manchester United. David de Gea uncharacteristically giving the ball way, Sterling with a message to hi manager to play him on Tuesday, he's been briliant so far.

David: City are taking the game to United's defence......not a good sign for United fans.

Dave: City have better close control and are quicker off the mark over 10 yards or so, United can't keep the ball long enough to put pressure on the City defence.

We have not seen much of Leroy Sane so far, but his low cross causes confusion at the back for United.

The ball ricochets off Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia slices the ball away for a corner.

Danilo needs to be careful because this is the second late challenge he has committed in the game, this time on Alexis Sanchez.

We almost had the opener.

Bernardo Silva gets in behind the United backline for the first time and is played through on goal, but his poked effort from six yards out is kept out by the leg of David de Gea.

David Silva shakes off the tackle and finds space 25 yards out.

He approaches the area and strikes a left-footed shot high and wide of David de Gea's goal.

You expect better from the little Spaniard.

If I was a United player I would want Vincent Kompany on the ball as often as possible.

Fantastic defender, but on the ball not as good as other City defenders, as we saw just there after the pass from Ederson.
