    Raheem Sterling

This could get veryyyy messy for Swansea.

It's just so effortless from Manchester City as this time a one-two between Fabian Delph and David Silva carves open the defence and Raheem Sterling is there to tap in Delph's cross from close range.

    Manchester City 1-0 Swansea

Manchester City win another corner as they look to add a quick second. Kevin de Bruyne aims for Fabian Delph on the edge of the area but the fullback can't connect with his volley.

The hosts regain possession and try again. One way traffic.

    David Silva

    Too easy.

Raheem Sterling times his run onto Kevin de Bruyne's ball to perfection before cutting it back to David Silva, who takes a touch and then swipes into the far corner from close range.

    Manchester City 0-0 Swansea

Silva-Silva again as David pokes the ball through the defence for Bernando but his cross is deflected behind for a corner. Kevin de Bruyne's delivery is headed away.

  5. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Swansea

David Silva works the ball out side to Bernardo Silva, who clips it towards the far post but it's over the heads of all his team-mates and Swansea clear.

Swansea not taking any risks, but surely being so defensive is a risk in itself against Manchester City? They nearly always find a way through.

    Manchester City 0-0 Swansea

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

We have already seen Fabianski kick a ball up to the half-way line but there's not even a Swansea player near the half-way line. It looks like they've set their stall out, so it will be interesting to see how Man City try to exploit that.

  7. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Swansea

Kevin de Bruyne hooks a cross towards the near post but it is too close to Lukasz Fabianski and he plucks the ball out of the air with relative ease.

Spontaneous standing ovation from all sides of the ground as the home fans applaud Manchester City's achievement this season.

They have started this game like so many this term, on the front foot and looking for an early goal.

There is a feel good atmosphere at the Etihad. The pressure is off for Manchester City, who will be given a Champions guard of honour by Swansea City, who still need points to secure their place in the Premier League next season. City have one or two surprises planned ahead of kick off, including the unveiling of a new banner, but I can’t say too much at this stage or I will get thrown out!

  14. 'Man City chase record-breaking season'published at 16:16 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

Man City v Swansea (16:30 BST)

    Simon Brotherton
    Match of the Day commentator

It's City's first game since being crowned champions and there'll be a party atmosphere at the Etihad, but for Swansea there's still plenty of hard work ahead as they fight to avoid the drop.

Much improved since Carlos Carvalhal took over in December, the Swans head north four points above the relegation zone with five to play, including a game in hand over the teams below them in the table.

But City have dropped only five points at home all season and there's still a chance to turn a title-winning campaign into a record breaking one. Four wins from the last five matches would break Tottenham's record of 31 wins in a top-flight season, set in 1960-61.

  15. 'We had too many attacking players on the pitch'published at 16:11 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

    Arsenal 4-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to BBC Sport: "It [Wenger's announcement] did make it more difficult but I didn’t think it played that way. We did a really good job, contained them for long periods.

"We just didn’t start the second half as well and they got a foothold in the game. We came back into it but in the end we probably had too many attacking players on the pitch and ruined our balance of making sure we did the defensive job well.

"Great credit to lads for how well they done and stuck at it. Unfortunately a young player [Declan Rice] makes a mistake – but that’s how you learn, make mistakes and get on with it – and hopefully come back better. Joe Hart made two very good saves. We need them to make saves."

    Are West Ham safe yet?

"I don’t know. I know we need to get more points to make sure we’re safe. If the other teams win, then we need to make sure we win ours."

  16. 'A strange place to come'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

    Stoke 1-1 Burnley

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, speaking to BBC Sport: "It's a good point, a strange place to come - they have their own things to fight for. We've got points on the board and seeing if we can finish strong.

"Their keeper was man of the match and I think that's the story of the game. On another day you might nick another one and get a 2-1.

"It's nothing to do [with European football at the moment], I allow them to get on with it, Stoke have a lot going on and we weren't sure how that would play out."

  17. 'There's still lots of twists and turns'published at 16:04 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

    Stoke 1-1 Burnley

    Stoke City

Stoke boss Paul Lambert speaking to BBC Sport: "Mixed feelings after that. We stated great and got a good goal.

"If we score the second with Mame Biram Diouf's chance it's hard for Burnley to come back. But it was never enough. We had some big moments.

"One thing you ask is to give it everything you've got. Since I've been here they have – there's been misfortune. You never know, we have to go to Anfield and get a point. There's still a lot of twists and turns here.

"It's important the players see I'm right behind them. The one thing about Diouf is he gives you everything. If that ball had come to him when he was more confident in the game he'd have probably hit it first time. But I'm not going to criticise him because he's been excellent for me.

"We've been under pressure for the last 15 games and from pre-season. Normally a point is a good point but in our situation we need wins."

Matt: Stoke on the brink of relegation. The squad is just not good enough and the manager too. Do what Newcastle did, start afresh!

Kevin: It looks like it’s finally time to accept that we’re down. Diouf has missed a hat full of glorious chances in the last few games and he’s our first choice striker. That’s not bad luck. That’s a lack of quality. The table doesn’t lie. We are where we deserve to be.

  19. 'A good way to prepare'published at 15:59 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

    Arsenal 4-1 West Ham

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "I was focused on winning the game. We just tried to be professional and do our job even when the circumstances are different. It was a good team spirit and good preparation for Thursday.

"I think we constructed patiently. We didn’t make big mistakes. First of all before winning a trophy, you need to get through the semi-finals. This is a good way to prepare - scoring goals against a strong West Ham team who have done well recently.

"I would like to thank everyone who has been very nice and kind and praised me more than I deserved it. I would like to say thank you everyone. It’s been a great period for me and I’m thankful for that."

  20. 'It's a kick in the teeth'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 22 April 2018

    Stoke 1-1 Burnley

    Stoke City

Stoke keeper Jack Butland: "We need wins. It's a kick in the teeth. We tried everything and we're not getting the results we want or the luck of the draw. Time for talking is done, we have to keep fighting.

"We had a 1-0 lead and we have to defend that.

"It's emotional for everyone and a tough time of year. We're all trying to do our bit.

"For 24 hours sulk if you want, but then we have to go again and go to Anfield. I'm not going to sugar coat it, we have to go there and win."
