    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

A little sniff of goal for Brighton as Chris Hughton's side work it smartly into the Burnley area, but Beram Kayal scuffs his effort and it rolls harmlessly to Nick Pope.

Mark Le Huray: Palace, Baggies and Saints first three teams to score in the Premier League weekend - just a normal week then.

  3. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Newcastle 0-1 West Brom

    Superb football! Poor, poor finish.

Newcastle should be level as Kenedy plays a one-two with Ayoze Perez, cushions the return pass on his chest and then clips a shot with the outside of his boot against the base of the post.

    It was casual. Too casual.

    Southampton 1-0 Bournemouth

Cracking hit from Mario Lemina from the edge of the box on the half-volley, rising towards the Bournemouth goal before Asmir Begovic dives across to save.

Saw his name in lights brighter than his bleach blonde hair there, the Southampton man.

Edward Layland: Tadic has been Saints' most consistently creative player for the last three seasons, should've been the first name on the team sheet all season then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.

James Warren: Come on, Saints, that will do for a start. Keep them coming! We need to keep a clean sheet and get a couple more, build some momentum and confidence.

Scrappy here at Huddersfield but the home team's work-rate is prodigious. They are pressing Everton with great intensity but require more composure when they get into dangerous positions.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Everton

Is that a penalty? Huddersfield winger Rajiv van la Parra hits the deck inside the area and there's a few shifty glances around the Everton backline. No pen!

The winger then blazes over moments later. Town on top.

Injury scare for James Tarkowski, but the Burnley defender is back on his feet and back on the pitch.

For all those non Evertonians that question why we're not happy with Allardyce, this is why! 25 minutes gone, plenty of possession and not a single shot on goal! That's one shot on goal in the last two games. Terrible approach to playing football. Have a shot at goal!

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:31 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Leicester

Wilfried Zaha goes close to a second for Palace, his low shot well saved by the sprawling Ben Hamer!

  12. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Southampton 1-0 Bournemouth

    Southampton threatening again.

Charlie Austin this time, looking set to cross from the right, instead attempts to catch out Asmir Begovic at his front post and the Bournemouth keeper does well to parry wide.

  13. 'What a time to score'published at 15:30 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Newcastle 0-1 West Brom

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

It always happens, every single season, there's a team down there who gets three or four results out of nowhere. It always happens, it's always against the form guide. What a time to score for Matt Phillips.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:29 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

Madness at Turf Moor. A huge goalmouth scramble sees Ashley Barnes denied on the line by a sea of Brighton bodies.

The ball continues to pinball around the Seagulls' box, Burnley think there's a handball as Shane Duffy - arms outstretched - then blocks another attempt on the line and finally the visitors clear.

    Sean Dyche is furious.

    Matt Phillips (29 mins)

    HELLO!

Darren Moore, sign him up! West Brom's unlikely revival continues as Jake Livermore plays a fine ball over the top, Matt Phillips races clear of the defence and then laces it right through Newcastle keeper Martin Dubravka and in.

Will West Brom live to fight another day?

  16. 'Brilliant finish from Tadic'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Southampton 1-0 Bournemouth

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

Brilliant finish from Dusan Tadic, and he has so much time to think about it too. Knowing what it means, too, what a cool finish that is. But really poor from Bournemouth to lose a goal from their own corner.

  17. Saints staying up?published at 15:28 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

That goal moves Southampton up to 32 points - just one behind Swansea and safety. IF they can hang on it would be massive...

  18. 'A fantastic finishpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Southampton 1-0 Bournemouth

    Efan Ekoku
Former Nigeria international on BBC Radio 5 Live

A great finish. Lovely play from Redmond, he plays it to Lemina. He times his pass, weighs it perfectly. Tadic slides it coolly past Begovic, it is a fantastic finish.

GOAL - Southampton 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Dusan Tadic (24 mins)

    What a break from Southampton!

The hosts were defending for their lives at one end before Mario Lemina latched on to a headed clearance, clicked into top gear and sprinted into the Bouremouth half.

The defender teases a perfect little pass into the path of Dusan Tadic, who slots home one-on-one.
