    Well what an afternoon that has been. Lincoln City have capped off a memorable debut trip to Wembley and lift the Checkatrade Trophy.

    Credit to Shrewsbury Town, who fought valiantly to get back into the game after the break, but their winless run at Wembley continues.

    Tremendous scenes post-match as Lincoln drink in a first win at Wembley in their history.

    What a way to do it. They weathered the storm from an excellent Shrewsbury Town side and Danny Cowley's side will lift the Checkatrade Trophy.

    With his back to goal and a marker on his tail he tries to turn and volley a high delivery goalwards, but it misses the target.

    It might be one of Wembley's smaller crowds, but there's certainly no shortage of noise.

    Shrewsbury's 12,000 following from Shropshire might be more than doubled in size by the 26,000 army of Lincolnshire fans.

    But they have certainly made themselves known. And the Shrewsbury team have responded well since the break - and Imps boss Danny Cowley has just had to give it a bit of the old double windmill on the touchline to get his side's supporters roaring raucously again.
