Well played Demi Stokes, the England left-back beating her opponent on the outside and then flashing in a fine cross but nobody's there to meet it.

    England 0-0 Wales

England well on top but yet to craft a really clear opening, Keira Walsh lashes over from long range. Plenty of noise and colour in the stands still.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 24 mins

    England 0-0 Wales

Cynical stuff from the England skipper as Steph Houghton blocks off Kayleigh Green on the halfway line and she's booked as a result.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 22 mins

    England 0-0 Wales

Save! Toni Duggan's shot from the edge of the area comes off Rhiannon Roberts - Duggan wants handball - but she nearly has a goal. The deflection wrongfoots Laura O'Sullivan but she adjusts smartly to claw it out.

O'Sullivan then has to be on her toes to push over a miscued cross from Jordan Nobbs. England turning the screw.

    England 0-0 Wales

Toni Duggan sprayed a fine crossfield ball from left to right but it was just overhit. England also overhit the ball in from a nicely worked corner, Keira Walsh getting too much on it.

Toni Duggan thinks she's improved so much as a player since joining Barcelona - her vision and awareness has improved and that's clearly benefiting England.

    England 0-0 Wales

Laura O'Sullivan has an an icepack on her jaw, she's going to be able to carry on.

It took a deflection. Laura O'Sullivan does well, she's brave to get down and save it. It was a fair challenge by Abbie McManus. It's bound to hurt.

For those here who have seen a replay, the general agreement is that the ball was just over the line. Wales can feel very unlucky.

It hasn't taken long for fans to get so used to technology has it? England have a free-kick out wide but they can't find a decent delivery and Laura O'Sullivan takes it bravely at the near post. Getting a knee in the face for her troubles.

Craig Smith: How can an international match at St Mary’s not have goal line technology?! I find that appalling.

Some more royalties for Jack White as the England band burst into brassy voice. England a bit rattled after that let-off, but Wales are not able to keep the ball.

    I reckon that was in!

Wales are hard done by there. Lucy Bronze reacted well to make the clearance but that looked just over the line to me.

Awful defending though, initially. There were five England players in between the shot and the goal with no woman in red anywhere near them. And they only managed to deflect the ball past their own keeper...

That looked really close. Lucy Bronze did so well to anticipate that and clear it off the line. It's two massive defections which take it past Carly Telford.

It's so difficult to call whether it crossed the line.

  18. Off the line!published at 9 mins

    England 0-0 Wales

    That looked in!

England's fallibility from crosses is there to see again as they make a real hash of dealing with a corner, the shot comes in, it ricochets around and Lucy Bronze hacks it clear.

From on the line, or from over the line?! No goal given but that looked close..

This is good play from Wales, you can see they've worked on it in training. Great technique. That was going into the bottom corner - it's a good save.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 8 mins

    England 0-0 Wales

England keeper Carly Telford has her first test and she doesn't exactly nail it, hesitant coming from her line and slightly out of position too but she just about gets the ball clear.

But that's a good save! Kayleigh Green nods the ball on from the throw, Rachel Rowe meets it on the volley and Telford has to be alert to push it clear.
