    England 0-0 Wales

Lovely stuff from Toni Duggan, backheeling a ball into the run of the overlapping Demi Stokes, but her cross is cleared. Fran Kirby is already looking influential for England. The number 10 has been converted from a striker into more of a roaming midfield schemer. Gazza-esque.

Not for all, but for several of these Wales players, this will be the largest crowd they have ever played in front of. Will that impact on their performance?

  3. Postpublished at 3 mins

    England 0-0 Wales

Decent atmosphere as England start dominating the ball, Wales very much in bus parking territory. Nikita Parris gets clear on the right and whistles over a cross which worries Wales keeper Laura O'Sullivan - but it skims away.

The way Wales were singing the national anthem, with the passion - they're desperate to play for their country and desperate to play in this game.

You can see how Wales are lining up with a back five and tight midfield four and just one up top.

    England 0-0 Wales

Chelsea keeper Carly Telford shows her nimble footwork for the first time, passing the ball neatly out from the back.

Some of the defending and goalkeeping from England in the SheBelieves Cup was a farce. Phil Neville has moved to try and rectify that fast.

England women head coach Phil Neville says he is "almost certain" his side will play at Wembley next year for the first time since 2014.

England's first and only game at the new Wembley was a friendly defeat by Germany in November 2014.

"There will be another game at Wembley, that's something both the Football Association and I want," said Neville.

"We will have games at Wembley next year, I'm almost certain of it, it's exciting."

England manager Phil Neville: "We are in good shape, we were sensational in training last night.

"It's a proud moment for me. My mum's watching in Australia with my sister and they will be tuning in. I will only enjoy it if we win! We are heading in the right direction."

Wales boss Jayne Ludlow: "Every game we hope to pick up points. We're Welsh, we get emotionaly involved in everything.

"There's excitement in the changing room."

I think it’s the right decision to start Carly Telford in goal. Karen Bardsley hasn’t been playing at club level. Carly is brilliant with her feet and can help England play out from the back. I’m glad Phil Neville has made a bold statement.

After finishing second in the SheBelieves Cup - Phil Neville's first three games in charge after becoming the new head coach in January - England are now up to second in the Fifa world rankings, their best ever position and the highest by an England team.

"The games in America were great for me as a learning curve in terms of getting to know my players and the standard they are at," said Neville.

"But there are three points on offer now.

"Wales are top of the group but we have to make sure that at the end of play on Friday we are on top of the group, where we believe we should be."
