Mauricio Pochettino's head was in his hands as Ander Herrera's shot hit the back of the net. He and his Spurs team have been here before.

They have had plenty of the ball in this second half but it is Manchester United who have made the vital breakthrough.

Jose Mourinho's side showed great resilience to survive the early Spurs assault but they have plenty of that, as they demonstrated by coming from two goals down to win away at Crystal Palace and Manchester City recently.

The two halves of Wembley show supporters in contrasting moods now.

Ander Herrera gets a good firm strike behind it and United lead. Since the equaliser in the first-half he has been terrific. He has been filling in, spotting danger, been tidy with his play and now he has contributed with that goal.
