That Liverpool defence might need to tighten up against Cristano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the final. They will need to score and that's the great thing. They attack and they're bold. The Liverpool fans were brilliant and they backed them all the way with their anthem.

The two young full-backs [Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold] have seriously improved. Loris Karius is relatively inexperienced so maybe we shouldn't be too surprised they have conceded the goals tonight. But the experience they have gained from nights like this will be invaluable. Jurgen Klopp has improved all of his players.

"First and foremost, you need to remember you're defending the lead and if you do you're in the final. They threw everything at us and we've done brilliant.
"Last season we were fighting for our lives at Hull, now I feel like I'm at home. I'll certainly enjoy Kiev.

Overall we handled the situation well apart from the last 10 minutes. We need to stop that but I’m delighted we’re in the final.
“We knew it was important to score and get one early on. We were unlucky with their first goal but overall we have to be happy with what we have done over the two legs. We could have done better in this game but we’ve made it through to the final.
“We have another important game on the weekend against Chelsea and then we have Real Madrid in the final. We will go there with confidence."
Real Madrid are trying to win the tournament for a third consecutive season - and a fourth in five.
