Quote MessageUnless Rangers get the first goal back quickly, Celtic could go on and score more goals. But Rangers have to open up now. It's a big, big task and a huge half-time for Graeme Murty if he is going to save his job. From Celtic's point of view, they are home and dry if they keep doing what they are doing.

Andy: As an Aberdeen supporter am delighted to see the Dons were not the worst team in the semis after all.
Paul: Training session for Celtic.
Stewart: Yet ANOTHER Celtic/Rangers borefest.

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson is an interested spectator at Hampden, having guided his side to the Scottish Cup final yesterday with an impressive victory against Aberdeen.

Quote MessageCeltic have been brilliant, they have turned up and are passing the ball really well. Murty has put three midfielders in there and we thought they would press high, but they have sat back and tried to do the defenders' jobs. What does that say about the back four? That sends out a message that they don't trust the back four. Scott Brown has had a cigar out.

Jordan: It's been too easy for Celtic, Rangers' confidence has been totally shaken since the last game at Ibrox. Not putting in anywhere near as much fight and effort as that game.
Craig: Who are Celtic playing? Other team hasn't turned up...
Wynn: So easy. We knew it would be.

My goodness this is turning into a grim afternoon for Rangers.
Andy Halliday subbed before half time as Graeme Murty was forced to act. The tactics simply have not worked.
It’s not often you hear the Celtic support singing the name of a Rangers player. How sore that must be for Halliday but it's an indication of the utter dominance Celtic have enjoyed.
They have been sharp, purposeful, threatening and are ruthlessly tearing Rangers apart.
It is already a party for the Celtic support and there is absolutely no sign of Rangers being able to do anything to change the course of this semi-final.
Celtic 2-0 Rangers
We're into two minutes of added time at the end of a half dominated by Celtic.
Celtic captain Scott Brown wins possession in midfield as his side launch another attack. The cross intended for Moussa Dembele is dealt with by the Rangers defence and Wes Foderingham gathers.

Quote MessageAndy Halliday wasn't a happy man going off there. He was having a shout at someone on the bench.
Celtic 2-0 Rangers
Graeme Murty has seen enough. The Rangers manager introduces Josh Windass for Andy Halliday. The latter doesn't appear too happy with being withdrawn and voices his frustration as he takes his place on the Rangers bench.
Callum McGregor
Celtic double their lead before the break with a goal that the Rangers defence won't want to see again. Russell Martin's clearance from Kieran Tierney's cross falls to the feet of Callum McGregor.
The Scotland midfielder steadies himself before arrowing a shot into the bottom corner and beyond the despairing reach of Wes Foderingham.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty has to change this as Celtic could already be out of sight. The Ibrox side are at times all over the place.
Celtic are so threatening going forward but the shape of the opposition is helping them.
That said, the enigmatic Tom Rogic has proved once again that he is a big talent who thrives on the big occasion. His composure and technique for the goal was superb.
He should have had a second. Moussa Dembele also looks sharp and at this rate, expect him to have further chances to extend Celtic’s lead.
Celtic 1-0 Rangers
Celtic don't look at all convincing at a Rangers corner as Craig Gordon appears to trip as he comes to claim the ball and Ross McCrorie sends a header wide.
Did Bobby Madden blow for a foul on Scott Brown from Alfredo Morelos? Perhaps.
Brendan Rodgers' side remain a goal to the good, courtesy of that early Tom Rogic strike.
Celtic 1-0 Rangers
Celtic are pressing hard for a second goal as we pass the half-hour mark. Tom Rogic sees his effort from the edge of the area blocked before Olivier Ntcham sends a shot fizzing narrowly wide.
He wants a corner for a deflection but referee Bobby Madden is having none of it.

Quote MessageThe game can change if Rangers adjust that midfield three. The back four have to look after Celtic's front three but at the moment they are not.
Celtic 1-0 Rangers
Mikael Lustig earns a booking for a foul of Rangers winger Jamie Murphy. The Swede takes the punishment with a frown, perhaps more at himself after coughing up possession.

Celtic are chasing a 'double Treble' - their second successive sweep of the three domestic trophies in Scotland - the Premiership, League Cup and Scottish Cup.
Singing legend Rod Stewart, a regular visitor to Celtic Park, is at Hampden today to see if they can take the next step towards that goal.
Today's winners will face Motherwell, back at the national stadium, in the final on 19 May.
