  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 Swansea

Best move of the game so far - but the offside flag is up. Marc Pugh is played through on goal, and just as he coolly plants the ball in the net the whistle blows.

  2. 'Dreadful defending by Newcastle'published at 10 mins

It was dreadful defending by Newcastle but it’s a good finish by Roberto Pereyra. Paul Dummett should have put his foot through it but it’s great awareness to feed Pereyra who finished well.

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

The Baggies have won just one of their last 16 Premier League games with Spurs but they desperately need a win here.

So far it's been all Tottenham.

  4. CHANCE!published at 15:06 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Leicester 0-0 West Ham

A decent chance for West Ham here as Manuel Lanzini has a shot blocked inside the area - the away side opened up Leicester far too easily on the counter attack. Bit of a slack start from Claude Puel's men.

  5. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Watford 1-0 Newcastle

Watford could and should have been 2-0 up.

They have three shots on goal but can't find the back of the net as Will Hughes' final effort flies wide of the post.

  6. Postpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 Swansea

It really is a beautiful day on the south coast. Always sunny down there of course.

The home side have lost their past three matches - they've only won once in their past 10.

Swansea, desperate for a victory that would hugely improve their own survival chances, enjoying the better spell early doors.

    Roberto Pereyra (2 mins)

A lucky deflection in the box means the ball falls kindly to Abdoulaye Doucoure. He looks up, slips it to his left and finds Roberto Pereyra unmarked.

The midfielder only has to slot it past keeper Martin Dubravka.

    FT: Stoke 1-2 Crystal Palace

Roy Hodgson has just told BBC Sport keeping Crystal Palace up is his "proudest achievement" as a manager.

They are the first top-flight team since Liverpool in the 1899-1900 season to avoid relegation despite losing their first seven matches of the season.

Inspiration for Swansea, Southampton, even West Brom?..

  10. 'Eyes on future of managers'published at 14:56 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Watford v Newcastle (15:00 BST)

    John Motson
    Match of the Day commentator

This game may have the look of an end-of-season dead rubber but the futures of the respective managers in the Vicarage Road dugouts adds plenty of intrigue.

Despite Watford's struggles of late, Javi Gracia could easily help the Hornets better their previous best Premier League finish of 13th, only to then find himself out of a job in the summer.

Magpies manager Rafa Benitez has enjoyed far better results of late but there are no guarantees about his future either. The Spaniard has dropped less-than-subtle hints of late that he could head for the exit if owner Mike Ashley doesn't give him funds to invest.

  11. 'You understood why Stoke are down'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    FT: Stoke 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Steve McClaren
Ex-England manager on BBC Radio 5 live

It's not about that one mistake by Ryan Shawcross, it's about the whole season. It's about what happened from pre-season to now. The process hasn't been right. The simple fact is, looking at the two teams today, you understand why Palace have stayed up and why Stoke have gone down. Stoke have no quality apart from Shaqiri. If you're relying on Peter Crouch at 37-years-old to keep you up, then you're in trouble.

  12. 'We've not been good enough'published at 14:53 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    FT: Stoke 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Stoke City

Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross following the club's relegation: "It's difficult obviously but it's not one just about game. It's over a season and we've not been good enough all season.

"Ultimately it's down to the players: we've not been good enough. The fans have been brilliant today, a tough result and they're still cheering us.

"Since the gaffer has come in we've had a right go and been in every game. But for whatever reason we've not got the goals we needed and that cost us."

You can follow reaction to Stoke's relegation over here.

  13. 'Watford deserve good result'published at 14:51 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Watford head coach Javi Gracia: "I see the same behaviour from the first day I was here until now and that hasn't changed regardless of us getting good or bad results.

"After our defeats the players were frustrated and they know the situation and want to start getting good results.

"Every day they come to training and work very hard. I am sure in the next games we will get a good result because that is what we deserve to get."

So how does Stoke's relegation affect the picture at the bottom of the league?

    • West Brom will also be relegated if they fail to beat Tottenham. But even if they win they will be down if Swansea avoid defeat or Southampton win.
    • Crystal Palace are now safe from the drop after beating Stoke

As for Swansea and Southampton, things are about to get very interesting...

  15. 'Players keen to put it right'published at 14:46 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Leicester v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    MoyesImage source, PA

West Ham manager David Moyes: "We have got three games to win. If we can win all three of those games then we might find ourselves quite high up the table so that is what we are going to try to do.

"The mood is good. We were really disappointed with how we played, even against the champions, but overall they are keen to put it right."

  16. 'Play with character and fighting spirit'published at 14:44 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Leicester v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    PuelImage source, PA

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "We are aware of what we want for the end of the season and next season. We must keep our concentration.

"We have to play with character and fighting spirit. It's a tough situation but we must give our best and the players must show their quality."

  17. 'Vultures are circling'published at 14:41 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

The vultures are circling around Leicester boss Claude Puel and he desperately needs a home win before the end of the season - his side have not managed that in the league since the middle of January.

How will the Foxes respond to last weekend's 5-0 mauling by Crystal Palace? It was their heaviest defeat of the league season.

Gone is any realistic hope of making the Europa League, gone is any sense Claude Puel might rekindle the spirit of 2015-16.

The Frenchman is under pressure. A recent club statement promising "full support" is perhaps the ultimate sign of that. They said the same thing of Claudio Ranieri.

  19. 'This is really about Swansea'published at 14:38 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth v Swansea (15:00 BST)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

Eddie Howe is not happy. Whilst his side can't realistically be relegated, they also can't realistically match last year's ninth-place finish. So, for the first time in either of his spells as manager, Bournemouth will finish lower than in their previous season.

However, this game is really about Swansea.

With home games to come against relegation rivals Southampton and Stoke, and a points advantage, you'd imagine they should have enough to beat the drop again.

However, what Swansea do not have is momentum. They took only two points in April and have scored only twice in their last seven games. No wonder the alarm bells are ringing."

  20. 'Safety is priority'published at 14:37 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth v Swansea (15:00 BST)

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "The first priority is to get Premier League safety. It's in our hands but we have a tough opponent on Saturday.

"Swansea have a good team shape and work ethic. They're very spirited."
