  1. CLOSE!published at 16:03 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

Straight from the restart, Jordan Ayew sends Asmir Begovic sprawling to turn a shot around the post. No time wasted there!

From the corner, a Bournemouth head booms clear at the near post.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

All the games are back under way for the second half.

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

As you can see from the heatmaps below (West Brom, left and Tottenham, right) Spurs have controlled the midfield but they haven't really peppered Ben Foster's goal.

That's good news for West Brom, as they need just one chance on the counter-attack to get that all important goal.

    Watford 2-0 Newcastle

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

Newcastle's terrific travelling supporters haven't stopped singing in the sparkling sunshine at Vicarage Road but it's just a shame their team hasn't started playing.

You can excuse goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from that though, he's been exceptional and it would have been a lot more embarrassing for them had he not made a string of fine saves including keeping out Troy Deeney's penalty.

Watford are heading for a first win in eight games and if they get it they will guarantee themselves a fourth consecutive season of Premier League football.

Mark: What an utterly brainless challenge from Mawson. As captain he should have shown more composure. Swansea deserve to go down.

Chris: Troy Deeney's recent penalty form shows a big lack of cojones

Ken: If Newcastle's away form was anywhere near as good as our away fans, we'd be laughing!

Former England captain Steven Gerrard was named the new Rangers manager on Friday.

But what does history tell us about how his first job in football management might go?

    HT: Watford 2-0 Newcastle

Watford had seven shots on target in that first half as well as a missed penalty. Newcastle haven't recorded any despite having 52% possession.

The referee Chris Kavanagh is in a really good position. I don’t think Marko Arnautovic catches Harry Maguire but he has had a swing at him. If the referee sees it he is very lucky to be staying on.

    HT: West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Harry Kane and Victor Wanyama came closest for Spurs in that half but in the end, it was Jay Rodriguez' headed effort which was the best chance of the opening 45 minutes.

Both Rodriguez and Ahmed Hegazi had two wonderful chances to put West Brom ahead but they need a goal because as it stands, the Baggies are going down.

Spurs have had all the ball though.

The big winners in all of this so far? Southampton.

As it stands they will have the chance to leapfrog Swansea and escape the bottom three if they can beat Everton in the 17:30 BST kick-off.

  12. 'Swansea will feel unjust to be behind'published at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

These two sides have played pretty similarly. They are looking for space in the middle and then using pace in behind. They have both had really good chances. Swansea might feel a little unjust to be behind at half-time

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs had all the possession but nothing to show for it in that half. The Baggies are hanging in.

  14. 'Swansea look lively'published at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It is not a forlorn hope for Swansea. They look lively and look like they have goals in them. You feel the next goal will be absolutely vital.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

Lucky, lucky boy. Lukasz Fabianski - the keeper hit a clearance straight at Callum Wilson just before the half-time whistle but managed to recover and win the ball back, staying big to block Wilson's low effort from a tight angle.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    Watford 2-0 Newcastle

It's all coming down Newcastle's right side when they are going forward but they haven't had any success from doing so.

Watford have dominated the first half and could, and maybe should, have been 4-0 up at the break.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

    Andy Gillies
BBC Radio 5 live at Vitality Stadium

That was a brilliantly worked free kick by Bournemouth. Ryan Fraser wasn't spotted at all by the Swansea defenders and the Scottish international had all the time in the world to pick his spot.

Carlos Carvalhal reacted furiously - I'm sure he felt that his side had made it easy for Bournemouth.

Fantastic work from Adrien Silva in the middle of the park to evade three strong West Ham challenges. He spills the ball away to a team-mate and scampers up the park to join Jamie Vardy in attack. Corner ball - the home side's first of the match.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:45 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    West Brom 0-0 Tottenham

What an end to the half for West Brom.

Just seconds after Jay Rodriguez goes close, Ahmed Hegazi almost heads in from a corner delivery.

He goes down to the ground with his head in his hands as he knows that was a fantastic chance.
