If Charlton come away from this game without conceding a goal they have a lot to thank Patrick Bauer for.

The rangy German centre-back has made a number of key interceptions and has read the game really well.

We could do with a goal now.

It's gone a little bit flat in the past 10 minutes or so, despite the excellent vocal support from the Charlton fans.

Time for a change from either Paul Hurst or Lee Bowyer?

Rob: Completely in favour of the National League play-off system. More teams involved so fewer dead-rubbers at the end of the season but maintaining integrity by giving an advantage to the league's top teams.

Julian Edwards: The teams in third and fourth should get the nod if the scores are tied after 180 minutes of the "semi final". Finishing the regular season with more points than fifth and sixth should count for something.

Alex Rodman makes a great run through the middle for Shrewsbury, plays a nice ball to Carlton Morris out on the right flank, but the striker's cross is a poor one and it goes out for a throw on on the opposite side.

    Solid start for Shrewsbury here.

Charlie Phillips: Charlton fan - regardless of the result tonight, it's great to finally see us play such an impressive style of football. The new-found passion and discipline are testament to everybody involved with the club: from fans to coaching staff.

Tom Griff: Here supporting Shrewsbury and I’ve managed to watch a good 10 minutes so far. This is torture!

That's what the play-offs are all about! Great for the neutral, horrible if your team's involved.

The two teams are back out on the field and we're about to get under way again in the second period.

Four pieces of EFL managerial movement to tell you about...

Championship club QPR have parted company with boss Ian Holloway. Holloway's second spell as manager at Loftus Road ended with Rangers finishing 16th in the second tier.

Ryan Lowe was unable to keep Bury in League One during his time as interim boss, but he will have the chance to try to get the Shakers out of the fourth tier after being appointed full-time manager today.

Phil Brown is staying with League Two club Swindon. The former Derby and Hull manager has signed a new two-year contract at the County Ground.

And Martin Allen is leaving Barnet following their relegation from the fourth tier last weekend. Allen began his fifth spell in charge of the Bees in March and almost performed a miracle by keeping them up, but their drop into the National League was confirmed on Saturday.

Craig Smith: I think the National League play-off system is better than the EFL. Teams in third and fourth should have clear advantage, which I don’t think you get over two legs.

Interesting - six teams are contesting this season's National League play-offs, with the sides finishing in the top two play-off positions needing to play one fewer match to make it to Wembley.
