Still only 32 - yes I thought he was a lot older as well - Corluka plays at the heart of the Croatia defence alongside Dejan Lovren, who is of course on familiar territory this afternoon, at Anfield.
The Croatia coach, Zlatko Dalic has got plenty of experience in his side - Corluka, Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic have all hit the 90 cap marker.
