Before today, Stoke and Brentford had not played each other since the 2001-02 third-tier play-off final, which the Potters won 2-0.

Since then, they've had six seasons in the second tier and 10 years in the Premier League, but now the Potters are back in the Championship.

As things stand, they're going to get their first win back in the second tier this afternoon, thanks to Benik Afobe's second goal of the season.

Middlesbrough could have scored four in the first half. As it is, they only lead 1-0, despite their dominance.
