    Well, what a night that was.

    No doubt where the biggest story of the night came though. Stoke City remain winless after four Championship games and their 3-0 capitulation at home to Wigan leaves them in the relegation zone.

    The Potters host Hull City on Saturday and Gary Rowett needs a big response from his charges.

    Here's what's tonight's results have done to the top of the Championship.

    Leeds are still top, as Bolton join the Whites and Boro on 10 points.

    Villa and Brentford remain unbeaten after Jonathan Kodjia's late goal meant the two sides drew 2-2 at Villa Park.

    League One update

    It was goal bonanza at both Priestfield and Glanford Park as Sunderland and Fleetwood hit top form, leaving Gillingham and Scunthorpe in misery.

    Fleetwood ran riot at Scunthorpe, leading 4-0 at the break thanks to two goals apiece for Ched Evans and Wes Burns.

    Ashley Hunter added to their tally in the second half to give Cod Army boss Joey Barton his biggest win in management, by some way.

    At Priestfield, Sunderland left with a 4-1 victory and their unbeaten start intact.

    Tom Eaves gave the hosts an early lead but goals from Chris Maguire, George Honeyman, Max Power and Josh Maja gave the Black Cats a resounding win.

    But it was a fine performance by Wigan, as Will Grigg scored twice either side of Gavin Massey's strike.

    Ashley Williams was sent off for the Potters late on.

    Bolton Wanderers are up to third in the Championship.

    It's four games and 10 points for Phil Parkinson's men thanks to Will Buckley's goal.

    Birmingham had so many chances tonight but for the second successive game they fail to score and they remain winless this campaign.

    A first win of the league season for the Owls, a first defeat for Millwall.

    Goals from Barry Bannan and Tom Lees put the hosts 2-0 up before Ryan Tunnicliffe pulled one back.

    Wednesday had some defending to do at the end, but held on for a vital three points.

    On-loan Everton defender Ashley Williams is sent off for a second bookable offence and Potters boss Gary Rowett must just want this night to end.
