    Bet365 StadiumImage source, Rex Features

Stoke City are still adapting to live in the second tier following their relegation from the Premier League last season and Gary Rowett is still looking for his first win since taking charge in the summer.

Peter Crouch's second-half equaliser spared the Potters a second defeat of the season when he netted against Preston on Saturday.

The visit of Wigan, promoted as champions of League One, gives Stoke another chance to get off the mark.

But the Latics have fared well so far on their return to the Championship, picking up four points and only being denied a second win on Saturday against Nottingham Forest by a stoppage-time equaliser.

Should Stoke take the three points it would be their first home league win since January, having gone eight games without a win.

  20. Bolton in wonderlandpublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 22 August 2018

Bolton Wanderers v Birmingham City (20:00 BST)

Bolton, along with Brentford and Aston Villa, are one of three teams who could go into the top two in the Championship this evening.

Wanderers survived relegation to League One in the dying minutes of last season but have made a superb start to this season with seven points from a possible nine.

They host a Birmingham side looking for their first win after two draws and a defeat.
