    Aston Villa 1-1 Brentford

Albert Adomah comes forward again on the Villa left after a one-two with Jack Grealish, but the winger is off balance as he puts his cross in and the ball is cut out by the Brentford defence.

A goal for either side would put them level with the two two in the Championship, and 25 minutes remain for a winner.

Jack Grealish is at the heart of everything for Villa at the moment.

Two balls in from the midfielder are cut out, and then he finds John McGinn.

His strike from outside the area just evades Jonathan Kodjia - but it wouldn't have counted as the striker was offside.

McGinn then sends a left-footed effort well over the bar.

Fleetwood are leading 4-0 at half-time against Scunthorpe United in what has been an exceptional first 45 minutes for Joey Barton's side. The Cod Army have certainly bounced back from the weekend's defeat, with two goals each for Ched Evans and Wes Burns.

There were another four goals at Priestfield Stadium with Sunderland leading Gillingham 3-1.

Tom Eaves opened the scoring for the hosts, but their joy was short lived as Sunderland's Chris Maguire equalised for Jack Ross' side.

The Black Cats continued their goal-scoring streak with George Honeyman and Max Power putting the Black Cats 3-1 up at half-time.
