Four games in, four games unbeaten for Nottingham Forest.

But their good start was only maintained by Hillal Soudani's stoppage-time leveller at Wigan last weekend.

This is Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka's eighth league meeting against Birmingham - he has lost none of the previous seven. The omens are good if you're a Forest fan.

Today's tea-time game sees Birmingham travel across the Midlands to face Nottingham Forest.

It's been a season of three draws so far for Forest, along with a victory against Reading.

Blues are still searching for their first win of the campaign - goalscoring has been a real problem for them once again with just two in their opening four matches.

Something's surely got to give today?

But for now, the attention switches to the City Ground for the late kick-off in the Championship.

Gary Smee will take you through that one.

  4. Ipswich fall to bottompublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 25 August 2018

    FT: Sheff Wed 2-1 Ipswich

    Championship bottom

It's been a tough start for Ipswich's new manager Paul Hurst. No wins in their first five matches now following today's 2-1 loss at Hillsborough.

QPR climb off the bottom with their first victory of the season.

  6. League Two headlinespublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 25 August 2018

Lincoln are top after a 3-1 home win over struggling Notts County, who are now bottom of the table.

Relegated MK Dons are two points behind in second after beating last season's beaten play-off finalists Exeter 1-0.

After a frantic ending, Crawley took home all three points against Bury with a 3-2 win and there was a first win of the season for managerless Cheltenham, as they recorded a 1-0 win at Cambridge.

  7. League One headlinespublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 25 August 2018

Peterborough top the table after hammering Plymouth 5-1.

A word for Doncaster midfielder Ben Whiteman who was forced to go in goal for the final eight minutes of his side's 0-0 draw with Portsmouth after Marko Marosi was sent off. Whiteman kept a clean sheet to mean Peterborough are the only side in the EFL with a 100% record after five games.

Managerless Scunthorpe United blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Barnsley, just a day after sacking manager Nick Daws.

Sunderland's Lee Cattermole was on target twice - he's scored more goals today than he has in the last four seasons combined - to help them clinch a 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.

Newly-promoted Accrington Stanley take home a point from Blackpool following a late equaliser.

    Norwich 0-3 Leeds

Classy and comprehensive for Leeds - the kind of performance their fans are becoming increasingly accustomed to under Marcelo Bielsa.

Another difficult Saturday afternoon for Norwich - they started well, but were listless in the second half.

    Derby 2-0 Preston

Comfortable in the end for Frank Lampard's Derby, who make it back-to-back wins with a decent display over Preston North End.

They almost made it three when David Nugent looked to lob Declan Rudd, miles off his line, in the closing stages - that would have been comedic if it had come off, but more importantly: as it stands, the Rams have not lost any of their last nineteen home league matches when scoring first. Good stuff.

As for Preston, this is the first time they've lost three consecutive away league matches since the final four away Championship matches of Simon Grayson's reign in May 2017.

And Leeds are equally stubborn at the other end.

    Derby 2-0 Preston

Also dominating are Derby, as Tom Lawrence just goes close...

He has scored four of Derby's last seven Championship goals (excluding play-offs), but both of his last two have been via direct free-kicks.

Probs why this one didn't go in...

    Norwich 0-3 Leeds

Patrick Bamford the latest to go close for Leeds - he latches onto a loose ball, bursts forward with intent and clips a shot inches wide.

This dominance is a bit daft now. Think of the children, Leeds.
