    Aston Villa 0-0 Reading

After a really busy opening 10 minutes it's all calmed down a bit at Villa Park.

New signing Anwar El Ghazi has had a few enterprising runs for the hosts but the final product hasn't been there yet.

    Mateusz Klich (21 mins)

Err... Ignore that last update - it's Mateusz Klich with the opener for Leeds...

A cultured finish from the midfielder - the ball comes to him in the air and the Norwich defenders are rammed together like tinned sardines on the line, but he strikes the ball sweetly to watch it nestle beyond Tim Krul.

Pablo Hernandez was the creator there, though, turning on the afterburners to feed Ezgjan Alioski - whose header was saved by Krul before Klich arrived with the follow-up.

    Norwich 0-0 Leeds

Norwich v LeedsImage source, Rex Features

Bearing in mind Norwich only attained their first Championship win of the season on Wednesday - a day after Leeds lost their 100% win record by drawing 2-2 with Swansea, who could have forseen this start for them?

Ivo Pinto sends Teemu Pukki scrambling ahead of Kalvin Phillips and Bailey Peacock-Farrell is on left exposed as Marcello Bielsa's side manage to block the shot.

    Derby 0-0 Preston

Looks like Frank Lampard's Derby have raced out of the blocks, too: Tom Lawrence directs a cross to Mason Bennett at the back post, but the forward can't quite reach it.

Moments earlier, Jayden Bogle squirrelled into the box, beat his man, cut the ball back - and his deflected shot drifted over the bar. That would have been some goal for the 18-year-old.

League One & League Two update

There's been a frantic start for Forest Green and Swindon Town in League Two. The hosts took the lead after just five minutes through Christian Doidge, before Michael Doughty levelled it up for Phil Brown's side.

Managerless Scunthorpe United - who parted company with Nick Daws yesterday - have gone ahead against early League One promotion contenders Barnsley.

Peterborough are also leading by two goals at Plymouth and, as it stands, top League One: Matt Godden and Siriki Dembele were on target for Steve Evans' side.

    Norwich 0-0 Leeds

Leeds have settled into a decent spell at Carrow Road - it's typical Marcello Bielsa interchanging as Samu Saiz's backheel sends Mateusz Klich into acres of space.

Leeds are away, but Ezgjan Alioski can't quite execute the cross. Bright start for both teams.

    Well, they were warned.

Sheffield United take an early lead just moments after Ben Alnwick had tipped John Fleck's shot onto the crossbar Mark Duffy gives the Blades the lead with a cool finish from 12 yards out.

    Norwich 0-0 Leeds

There's been a characteristically lively start for Leeds at Carrow Road, with Ezgjan Alioski firing a volley into the stands from a slightly audacious angle on the corner of the box.

Norwich have responded with real verve, though - they've won a couple of corners in the early stages and started well.

It took Daniel Farke's men twenty minutes to muster a shot on target against Sheffield United last week, so it looks like they've... um... learned.

    Bolton 0-0 Sheff Utd

Bolton have made a superb start to the season and much of that is down to goalkeeper Ben Alnwick.

He's just made a superb save to deny John Fleck an early goal for the visitors.

    QPR 0-0 Wigan

QPR will be desperate for a good start at Loftus Road following Tuesday's 3-0 reverse at the hands of Bristol City.

If Wigan score first, the atmosphere will turn rather sour.

    Well, that was quick.

Niclas Eliasson's low cross from the left turned in by Andreas Weimann and Bristol City's travelling supporters are in raptures.

Tottenham centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers is sat in the directors' box. He's close to completing a loan move to Swansea and won't have been impressed by that defending.
