Callum Wilson crosses into the box looking for Joshua King but the ball falls to Ryan Fraser who fires high and wide as if he's converting a try.

What a waste from Callum Wilson who finds his way into the near post and could shoot from an acute angle to wrap it up.

Instead he opts to pass and Cardiff clear their lines yet again.

Ryan Fraser has been on the end of a fair few fouls today and it's fair to say he's been a tad roughed up.

To pile on to this, Sol Bamba attempts a bicycle kick inside the box which catches Fraser on the shoulder. That looked painful but it certainly wasn't deliberate.

Cardiff have really come to life in the last 10 minutes, and their vocal travelling supporters sense their side could snatch a point here.

Captain Sean Morrison almost latches onto a cross from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing but it sails wide while at the other end, David Brooks fires across the face of goal.

It's end to end stuff now and Cardiff forward Bobby Reid tees up Callum Patterson in the box but he fires a deflected shot wide and they win a corner.

Lee Peltier keeps the ball alive after the Cherries clear and they look reinvigorated in the last five minutes.

Ryan Fraser launches in a corner into the box which is nodded backwards by Nathan Ake into the path of Joshua King who wins another corner.

The rain is beating down in Bournemouth now but it is not dampening the spirits of the home fans, who have pretty much not stopped singing all afternoon.

The Cherries look comfortable with the ball and show no signs of halting the momentum they had before the break.

Cardiff need a breakthrough and they need it soon.
