Patrick: Never a red card. Not a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity, not a dangerous tackle (reckless, maybe), and Jagielka did actually get the ball. Yellow card, if even a foul.

Tom: Watching on the phone at my sister-in-laws wedding without sound so can't hear what the pundits are saying but how on earth is that a red card. Saying that great free kick from Neves

Anon: That is a fantastic finish from Neves. With that red, and accompanying goal, Wolves have their tails up. Proper Premier League game now.

Had Everton gone in 1-0 at half-time, Wolves would have probably made changes.

But they've drawn level now and the crowd have been given a lift. You can't give quality players chances like that. The whole game has changed in seconds.

Sho: The game's gone. Not in a million years is that a red card. Awful decision from Pawson.

    Jack: Walcott is completely anonymous

Bharat: Is it only me or does the Wolves Manager really look like Ser Davos Seaworth from Game of Thrones.

No, I’m not seeing that comparison Bharat!

    GOOOOOOOOL.

These last couple of minutes could hardly have gone worse for Everton. Ruben Neves - making his Premier League debut - curls the free-kick wonderfully into the opposite top corner.

Phil Jagielka has stretched for it and he has gone late. He has tried to rectify his poor touch and it gets away from him. It's a lack of concentration and the referee makes his mind up quickly.

If you think you saw I said Leighton Baines was sent off there, you must have been imagining it.

I definitely wrote Phil Jagielka from the start...

    (My bad)

  14. RED CARD FOR EVERTONpublished at 41 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Everton

Everton defender Phil Jagielka has been sent off.

Jagielka miscontrols the ball and then dives in on Diogo Jota in an attempt to win it back. It's studs-up and catches Jota on the ankle - but a red card seems a tad harsh.

It matters not though as Jagielka walks off.
