It's as you were at the break with Celtic still leading on aggregate and 45 minutes closer to the next round.

Rosenborg gradually got into a dominant position with their possession and put the visitors under pressure with several corners but, other than Marius Lundemo's header saved by Craig Gordon, they have struggled to carve out meaningful chances.

Celtic's Olivier Ntcham receives treatment for a head knock but is able to continue. The visitors seem content to sit on their aggregate lead until the break.

I would've expected Rosenborg to create more chances in this half because of the positions they have worked and the possession they have had, but fortunately for Celtic, that hasn't happened. The visitors have been very tentative in their play so far.

More pressure from Rosenborg and this time Tore Reginiussen bends a shot wide of the far post from the left edge of the box.

It was a nice little ball clipped in but the movement in the box was too quick. [Celtic] shouldn't have been offside but it was a good opportunity at the back post.

Alexander Soderlund leaps to meet another Rosenborg corner and it is down to goalkeeper Craig Gordon to punch the ball away.

The hosts return it into the area from a throw-in but Celtic stand firm.

Celtic thought they were in there as Jack Hendry tried to hook an Olivier Ntcham free-kick back across goal but the defender had been flagged offside.

Odsonne Edouard comes very deep to challenge Marius Lundemo for a header and is penalised. The Celtic striker has been rather isolated in this first half with the visitors not seeing much of the ball in the opposition half.

I have been disappointed because I expected Celtic to have a little bit more control on this game. It's not down to the shape, it's down to players not giving an option off the ball. The only pleasing thing is that Rosenborg haven't created many opportunities despite the possession they have had.

The home fans are making quite a racket as their side begins to crank up the pressure on the Celtic backline. The stadium is nowhere near full but the atmosphere is good and a Rosenborg goal would no doubt raise the volume further. The Celtic supporters on the far side of the stadium are quiet for the moment as the Norwegians dominate.

A dangerous inswinging corner from Rosenborg's right is palmed out to the other side by Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon. The next set piece is headed clear. Frustration for the hosts.

The official was in a really good position. Jack Hendry was struggling to get across and he stuck out a leg but I don't think he made enough contact for a penalty. You can see where the danger is coming from.

Birger Meling goes down in the box as he stretches to cross following Jack Hendry's challenge but referee Sandro Scharer is unmoved as the ball goes out for a goal kick.

Chance for Rosenborg. Pal Andre Helland finds Alexander Soderlund in space near the penalty spot and he tries to take it first time but the effort trundles wide.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon fumbles a cross and Jack Hendry has to tidy up.

There were no Rosenborg players close enough to take advantage and though the hosts regained possession soon after, they could not make it count.

Rosenborg have had most of the possession so far, but they are not a great team. Celtic must not give them any confidence. Birger Meling is the one who is bombing forward down the left and he has got to be picked up.

Neither side able to really dominate possession so far but that's a bigger problem for Rosenborg as they chase the goals they need. Celtic comfortable enough for now.

Celtic got caught on the counter but Birger Meling took an awful touch which allowed Cristian Gamboa to get back into a good position. Celtic have to be careful they don't expose themselves early on and they keep a good structure.
