Rachel Armitage: So far that seems to be a theme in our season, creating a ton of chances but not being clinical enough, and being denied by heroic goalkeepers.

    Wolves fan I presume?

    Wolves 0-0 Burnley

Wolves win a corner off James Tarkowski. They have started off in exactly the same way they ended the first half!

  3. CLOSE!published at 47 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Burnley

Phil Bardsley's back pass is short and Diogo Jota escapes away towards goal. It is two-on-one for Wolves as Raul Jiminez is free on the right.

Jota tries to slip it to him but it's an awful pass and it's cut out just in time!

    What a chance!

Dave W: I like Wolves' attitude & style of play - a bit like Man City without the high level of skill of Silva, Aguero etc. Maybe the manager could do the same job at OT.

Lewis Wilson: They are going to have to re-turf the Burnley penalty box at half time. The whole game has taken place there.

The players are back out onto the pitch. I wonder what Sean Dyche told his team at half-time? We could find out very shortly...

  7. 'Former Red Cresswell returns to Merseyside'published at 14:29 British Summer Time 16 September 2018

Everton v West Ham (16:00 BST)

    Gary Flintoff
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at Goodison Park

I see that West Ham's Liverpool-born full-back Aaron Cresswell has been speaking ahead of the game.

He's told West Ham's official website: "Obviously I grew up in Liverpool and played for Liverpool when I was a kid, but I’ve been in the game a long time now and I’ve been at West Ham for five years so I don’t look at this kind of game differently just because I grew up there."

I wonder what kind of reception the Everton fans will give him this afternoon?

  9. 'Like watching the old Joe Hart'published at 14:26 British Summer Time 16 September 2018

    Wolves 0-0 Burnley

    Conor McNamara
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at Molineux

Joe Hart has been one of the busiest players on the pitch, he’s touched the ball more often the Sam Vokes, Aaron Lennon, Ashley Barnes, so he’s been very busy.

His five minute spell where he made a succession of saves was like watching the Joe Hart of old.

There is a lot of talk about whether Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin will play this afternoon. His manager Marco Silva has offered his condolences in today’s match day programme for the loss of his father this week.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 16 September 2018

    Wolves 0-0 Burnley

Andre Marriner obliges and ends the first half.

Joe Hart shrugs his shoulders, picks up his water bottle and trudges off the pitch. He's been excellent for Burnley but that doesn't say much about his team's performance.

    Wolves should be ahead.

The free-kick is headed clear and Burnley win the ball back through Charlie Taylor on the left. They play it up towards Ashley Barnes but he's challenged from behind by Willy Boly and is sent onto the turf, flat on his face.

Sean Dyche is fuming. He wants a free-kick for that!

Burnley try to find Aaron Lennon but Diogo Jota intercepts and shows terrific balance to skip away from several challenges before he's brought down again by Jack Cork.
