Cardiff manager Neil Warnock: "I thought we started well. Though the first 30 minutes, we had shape and knew what we were doing but the goals killed us. I’ve not seen our heads go down like that.

Huddersfield manager David Wagner told BBC Sport: "We made so many big mistakes in my point of view. We got the lead but we gave them presents. We conceded two counter attack goals against Leicester, and we didn’t use our chances in the offensive side.

"Apart from that, the performance and the attitude was there. If I compare the gap between us and the other teams, there is not a lot and I can see we are closing the gap in terms of performances and the talent we have, but the opponent didn’t have to invest anything to score today and that is what we have to stop."

"We were guilty of not stopping them creating moments in the first half. The second half was damage limitation. The guys were better in terms of shape, stopped some good attacks and got a clean sheet in the second half.

“We had them penned in at 2-0 and were one goal from changing the entire mood of the game.

“We’re very disappointed to concede four. That didn’t look on the cards early in game. We knew we’d have to defend crosses and set-plays well and we didn’t do that.

“We also had to defend diligently. Then they left themselves open and we capitalised on that. We made some massive chances against Southampton and Watford and didn’t take them - today we did.

"The result is really cool and the performance could have been better.

"The changes cost us as I changed the system. Xherdan Shaqiri was influential and Joel Matip was too, but our organisation was a problem.

"You could see that with the communication on the pitch, but we changed back to a system we are used to.

"Saints were not bad, they were really good, but maybe in the final third they were not the biggest threat.

"A clean sheet is very important and staying concentrated in an intense period is difficult.

"Joel Matip was spot on and the full backs had outstanding work rate and I liked what I saw. What I didn't like today was my fault."

Wolves goalscorer Joao Moutinho: "We had lots of chances, De Gea made a lot of saves, but they had chances as well. I thought we did a very good match. One point is good, maybe it could have been better, but it is good and we are happy.
