Leicester City

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "Of course I am satisfied, it was a strong performance against a good team. We continue to play on the floor with quality.

"We had fantastic discipline. It was a tough game, people will say Newcastle are in difficulty but they have quality.

"Harry Maguire's first game of the season was difficult for him without much pre-season but this afternoon he played very well. Congratulations to him, he always has a positive attitude and he is a fantastic guy.

"James Maddison continues to give his best and improve. He has to continue that work and we will see in the future. He can not have a mind on the future of his national team, we will see."

Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who made his Premier League debut: "It was a difficult start. As a goalkeeper you don't think you will come in and Petr Cech gets injured. I feel sorry for him. I hope it's not too bad.

"The two games in the Europa League and Carabao Cup were important for me to get a feel of my defence so it wasn't too difficult for me.

"The big strikers are very good and very strong so we had many problems but our defence did a good job.

"I think we have to improve. We need time but we tried to play football from behind and we have to concentrate as not everything was perfect. It was a good game but not perfect so we have to watch it again and see where we can improve."

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham striker Harry Kane:

"It was not a straightforward win, it was tough out there. The pitch was dry, they went long so we had to defend well.

"We could’ve put the game to bed, sometimes you’ve got to grind the game out they put the pressure on.

"On Wednesday it was important to go through in the cup, keep the momentum going. We’ve got a massive game on Wednesday that hopefully can win.

"It’s a long season, we’ve had a few games we didn’t get the result, but we’ve played some good teams. Liverpool and Inter Milan are no easy games.

"It was a grind out there, the kind of games where feels good when you win, a battle, tough defenders. It was a tough game but pleased we ground it out.

Arsenal

Arsenal defender Rob Holding: "We knew it would be a battle. It always is when you're up against Troy Deeney!

"We stood up to the battle and though we were tired late on we got those two goals. As long as we matched them physically, we have the players who could get the goals.

"Another clean sheet. It's nice to get that and keep that run going. The manager said he wanted to bring in a winning mentality. We go into each game confident. We're physically fit and we know we can get a result."

Wolves

Wolves defender Matt Doherty: "We played alright for the first 70 minutes today but we were missing a bit of a spark. Adama’s (Traore) fresh legs and Ivan (Cavaleiro) have made the difference. That's why you have the substitutes."

Goalscorer Ivan Cavaleiro on his first Premier League appearance: "It feels really good to be back. I was tired today but I'm very happy to be with the team."

Manchester City

Oleksandr Zinchenko: "For us it was important to get three points and we had a lot of chances to score but Brighton are a good team defensively and have quality players in front."

On Pep Guardiola: "He is number one coach in the world and he wants to see the best of us."

On their midweek game in the Champions League against Hoffenheim: "Of course Champions League is important to us so we hope to get three points."

Leicester City

Leicester defender Harry Maguire: "We came here with a game plan and we were comfortable after we got the first goal, we limited them to shots from distance. James Maddison takes all the set plays now so we look dangerous.

"He's definitely good enough to play for England, it's a matter of time. If he keeps improving he'll get the call and he will take the challenge on."

Maddison: "We know Maguire is a big threat so I know if I get the delivery right he will score, he showed in the World Cup what a threat he is.

"I am loving every minute in the Premier League, it's a step up but one I am relishing. I don't think about England, just worry about Leicester."

It is beginning to not surprise me how good the football Wolves play is.

Teams are starting to realise you can come from the Championship and hold your own with the right signings, right manager and the right balance.

And it's all over at Huddersfield. A Harry Kane double seals the points for the visitors.

Their team might be about to lose again but the Huddersfield fans have been magnificent in this second half.

They have really stuck with their team and created a fabulous atmosphere during the second half.

If their players could get close to the performance in the stands, Huddersfield would be fine.
