They stayed up last season but Huddersfield are winless in 10 league games scoring just four times in that run.

And if they go behind to Tottenham they are in trouble.

The Terriers have yet to win a Premier League game after conceding the first goal, losing 19 of 21 matches after going 1-0 down.

When Huddersfield played last year they got some big wins early on and had momentum from the start of the season. They've brought in players who aren't even starting games and they're playing with pretty much the same team as last season. I think it's going to be a struggle for them this year.

The heady days of spring and Huddersfield's successful battle to stay in the Premier League seems a long time ago.

Yet to win this season (or even score at home!), the prognosis is bleak, and things may get worse before they get better, with the next visitors to the John Smith's Stadium being Liverpool.

To win this one they're going to need Tottenham to have an off-day and, more importantly, give an error-free display of their own.

Start well, go in front, get the always excellent home crowd going, and we might see an upset.

If Spurs strike first, it will be hard to envisage anything other than their bounce back to form continuing.

Huddersfield make two changes from their 3-1 defeat by Leicester last weekend. Alex Prichard starts against his former club, while Jonathan Hogg also comes in.

Rajiv van La Parra and Elias Kachunga lose their spots.

Tottenham are without Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli because of injury.

They make only one change from their last Premier League game as Davinson Sanchez - who played their Carabao Cup game in midweek - replaces Eriksen. That means Spurs move to a back three/five.

Paulo Gazzaniga continues in goal, with all other senior options injured.

Joint bottom of the table. Two points all season. It's safe to say things aren't going great for Huddersfield this season.

But a win over one of the country's top clubs could do an awful lot for morale and momentum.
