Wolves 2-0 Southampton
An ultimately comfortable win for Wolves who didn't have to do much to see off Southampton.
The Saints actually played OK but didn't carry much of a threat and were ruthlessly punished by their hosts in the closing stages
Wolves 2-0 Southampton
Southampton desperately seek a way back into this game and are pushing men forward.
The ball breaks kindly for Manolo Gabbiadini 12 yards out but his well-struck shot is at a nice height for Rui Patricio.
Wolves 2-0 Southampton
Raul Jimenez, who has suddenly been instrumental in this game, is replaced by Leo Bonatini.
Jonny
Right back Matt Doherty has been threatening in the past 10 minutes and he is the architect of this one.
There seems little danger with Stuart Armstrong shackling Doherty down the right but he brushes off the defender all too easily.
He breaks into the box and cuts back for the arriving Jonny to sweep under a helpless Alex McCarthy.
Easy as that.
Wolves 1-0 Southampton
Saints are their own worst enemy at the moment and keep giving it away.
It's Wesley Hoedt to the rescue to deny Raul Jimenez a clear run on goal.
Wolves 1-0 Southampton
Suddenly, Wolves are looking dangerous whenever they get the ball.
From a quickly-taken corner, Joao Moutinho whips in a delicious cross that Jimenez meets at the near post. Alex McCarthy though twists in midair to claw his header away.
Ivan Cavaleiro
This goal is all about the direct running of Adama Traore.
The substitute breaks down the right hand side, twists Wesley Hoedt in knots before crossing for Raul Jimenez. The Mexican holds off Jannik Vestergaard and tees up Ivan Cavaleiro who buries into the roof of the net with his first Premier League touch.
Inspired substitutions!
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Charlie Austin is a disappointed man as he is withdrawn for Manolo Gabbiadini.
Wolves also make a change, bringing on Ivan Cavaleiro for Diogo Jota
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Saints seek to build the pressure here, making progress down both flanks and flashing a couple of dangerous crosses in.
The first is scrambled clear but the second lands at the feet of Stuart Armstrong. His instinctive shot is well claimed by Rui Patricio.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Inadvertently nasty from Adama Traore.
He was over-playing in the middle of the park and in his desperation not to lose the ball to Nathan Redmond he goes over the top of the ball and catches the Saints winger.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
That's neat from Ruben Neves, slipping a couple of challenges and swinging a cross into a dangerous area.
The Wolves frontline were flat-footed though and it went through to Alex McCarthy.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Mo Elyounoussi is off. The Norwegian did OK in the first half but faded and has barely been seen since the break.
He's been replaced by Stuart Armstrong.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Fair play.
We were all writing off giant centre back Jannik Vestergaard as he lumbered forward to shoot from a free kick fully 40 yards out.
His drilled effort though is on target and almost brings a chance as Rui Patricio spills at the feet of Danny Ings. He springs to his feet though before the Saints striker can snaffle the chance.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Wolves fans on their feet as Adama Traore turns and runs at the Saints defence. His pass is cut out though by Ryan Bertrand though and Southampton come forward again.
A few gaps opening up in the middle of the park now.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Absolutely wild.
A tussle in midfield lands at the feet of Charlie Austin who has been starved of service so far today.
That's no excuse for his brutal lash at the ball which soars high and wide.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Excellent football from Southampton.
Hojbjerg finds Cedric in space down the right and he plays in Nathan Redmond. Redmond's cutback finds Danny Ings who tries to swivel but he is well marshalled and the ball dribbles behind.
Much better though.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has impressed though.
At the hub of everything Southampton do, winning all his duels and making more passes than anyone else.
He's the main reason the likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho have yet to really get going for the hosts.
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Wolves 0-0 Southampton
Southampton look to break away from a Wolves' corner. Danny Ings robs Jonny and in the Spaniard's desperation to win it back he hauls Ings down.
Yellow for the right back.
