Cardiff City have not won at home in the Premier League since beating Fulham here in March 2014, and you would think this afternoon’s match against the Cottagers might be an opportunity for them to halt that run.
Although the hosts are bottom of the table, they face the only team in the division who have yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
A defence as porous as Fulham’s would offer encouragement to most top-flight attacks but, having scored a joint-league low of four goals in eight games this season, Cardiff may find it harder than most to find a way through Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.

Can you have a six-pointer in October? This certainly feels like one, despite Slavisa Jokanovic begging to differ.
One thing for sure is that Cardiff couldn't ask for more generous opposition as they aim to bag their first win of the campaign. Fulham are the only side yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season, while the Cottagers also possess the division's worst defensive record.
A clash of two very different playing styles will make for interesting viewing, as should the fact this is a game both teams know they badly need to win.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock makes two changes from the 1-0 defeat at Tottenham.
Midfielder Joe Ralls is suspended after a red card in that game and is replaced by Aron Gunnarsson, who plays for the first time this season after recovering from injury.
Bobby Reid comes in for winger Junior Hoilett in the other change.
Cardiff XI: Etheridge; Ecuele Manga, Bamba, Morrison, Bennett; Gunnarsson, Camarasa, Arter; Murphy, Reid, Paterson.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic makes three changes from the 5-1 home thrashing by Arsenal.
Calum Chambers, Kevin McDonald and Stefan Johansen replace Cyrus Christie, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Luciano Vietto.
Fulham XI: Bettinelli; Chambers, Odoi, Ream, Sessegnon; Le Marchand, McDonald, Seri, Johansen, Schurrle; Mitrovic.

The clocks have yet to go back but already this looks like a huge game at the bottom of the table as Cardiff host Fulham at the Cardiff City Stadium. Is this the afternoon where Neil Warnock's side finally claim their first Premier League win of the season?
