  1. Jokanovic: 'Miracles don't exist'published at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2018

    Are you sure Slavisa?

    • What about cheese on toast?
    • Watching videos on your phone?
    • Vegan cake?

The miracles the Serb is referring to is a quick fix that would see the Cottagers bounce back up the table.

Here he is (Warning: he goes a little eternalist on us lot regarding 'time'):

"I cannot complain about the supporters. I know many, many people are around us.

"I know how they want us to be successful. I know our target is to do everything to win the game and make them satisfied.

"Miracles don't exist. We need some kind of time. Time doesn't exist and we have to accept that we are going to make it immediately some kind of reaction."

So the Get Involved for this match is: Does time exist?

  3. Wagner: 'Life will continue after Monday'published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2018

That is correct David - here are his words of wisdom in full, uttered in the build-up to this encounter:

"Over the last three years, and the starting point that we had, this has created a relationship (with the board) where we know we can only continue to be successful if we stick together, and if we have the right thing in our head.

"Showing that commitment is what it is all about, and that we stay together. This is one of the advantages we have at this football club, that we stay calm even if we are ambitious.

"This is something we have shown in the past, and I'm a strong believer that when you start to get nervous or panic, then you will fail. Life will continue after Monday whatever happens, but it is a very important game."

Rob Alderman: Still amazed Hughes isn't under more pressure. When you look at their record in 2018, and the teams they have got points against, it's pretty dire.

It's Watford and Fulham next for them... and him

    Huddersfield:

    • Huddersfield could become only the second team in English Football League history to fail to score in their first six home games of a season, after Mansfield who failed to score in their first nine in the third tier in 1971-72.
    • In total, they have failed to score in their last seven home top-flight matches.
    • Since they scored against Watford in April, Huddersfield have had 76 shots in home Premier League games without scoring.
    • Only three teams have had a winless run of at least 11 matches from the beginning of a Premier League season and gone on to avoid relegation - Derby County (13 in 2000-01), Everton (12 in 1994-95) and Blackburn Rovers (11 in 1996-97).

Which way has the former 'moustachioed' maestro gone this time...? He is up against Matt Kean and Matt Nicholls, bassist and drummer in rock band Bring Me The Horizon.

Here's some of what he said about the match:

On current form, this looks like it could be a game in the Championship next season - these two teams have managed one win from their combined 20 league games so far.

Huddersfield have not scored a goal in any of their five home games this season either, but surely that has to change against a Fulham team with the worst defensive record in the Premier League?

    Lawro's prediction: 2-1

Loser92: What a corker of a relegation six-pointer there tonight. The atmosphere generated by the Terriers’ fans is like a an extra man for the home side, and victory would lift the Yorkshire-men to within touching distance of safety. It all makes for an exciting clash at 8.

They make a switch up front in search of a first home goal of the season, bringing in Steve Mounie for Laurent Depoitre. Their only other change sees Florent Hadergjonaj come in for Isaac Mbenza.

Rajiv van La Parra and Tommy Smith are on the bench after recovering from injury.

Fulham make three changes from the team that lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth. Tom Cairney starts and captains the side, while Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Luciano Vietto come in. Defender Tim Ream is on the bench along with Kevin McDonald, who was sent off against the Cherries but served his suspension in the League Cup defeat to Man City. Aboubakar Kamara is not in the matchday squad at all.
