Burnley have looked more solid since the start of this second half and it remains to be seen whether the physical and emotional exertions the Leicester City players have endured, including that 12,000-mile round trip to Bangkok, in the last two weeks take their toll as this game progresses.

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Solid, commanding play from Jonny Evans as he steps in to clear before two arriving Burnley men. The away side force it down the right wing again though and Wes Morgan is sent into a desperate block, the ball somehow pinging off his back and away as he launches into a slide.

Play breaks down the other end, and Wilfred Ndidi drives a powerful low shot straight at Joe Hart from 25 yards.

It's nice and open this one now.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Rachid Ghezzal doesn't have a right foot. He's in space to shoot on goal from outside the area but has to turn back onto his left and is crowded out in doing so.

Wilfred Ndidi chips a cross into the box and Ricardo Pereira gets a head on it but can only nod wide.

Steven Defour is coming off for Burnley - a few moments ago he took a slight knock to his left knee and it seems Sean Dyche doesn't want to take any chances. Jeff Hendrick is on in his place in a like-for-like midfield switch.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Wes Morgan takes out Chris Wood with an awkward challenge from behind and goes in the book.

From the free-kick, Ben Mee just gets the slightest of touches on a cross to the penalty spot, and Kasper Schmeichel is sent sprawling, the ball just spinning wide. That was close too.

  5. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Brilliant stuff from Demarai Gray, a lovely touch to set himself away and a pitch perfect pass out to Jamie Vardy suddenly opens Burnley right up.

Vardy drives on and cuts back to the edge of the box - just out of Gray's reach but Marc Albrighton gets to it and hammers a shot that Joe Hart can only deflect out in front of him; the Burnley defence scrambles to get the ball clear.

Lovely touch that from Ben Mee as he slices a bouncing ball into his touch before booming an awful pass way out of play. I really enjoyed that for some reason.

It's been a lively start from the away side though - a lot of early pressure and running from a team who probably finished the first half the stronger.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Here we go, we're back under way at Leicester. Burnley get us restarted. No changes from either side after the break.

It is expected that Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's son Aiyawatt, known as Top, will make an appearance on the pitch after the final whistle along with Leicester City's players as a gesture of thanks for the support he and his family have received from supporters in the fortnight since his father's death.

It was always going to be a tough game with the emotional roller coaster that Leicester have been on. It took them a little bit of time to settle into the game but when they did they started creating some chances and are unlucky not to be ahead at half-time.

Burnley have also been threatening but at the moment it has been a comfortable game for Leicester.

Leicester have been more impressive but both teams have had their chances...

Here's Rachid Ghezzal though with another really smart first-time flicked pass to set his team on its way. Ben Chilwell wins a corner down the left and his cross is blocked.

Ghezzal drifts the corner in and Wilfred Ndidi heads it over the bar with power under pressure.

Under five minutes to go until the break and it's Burnley who are looking more comfortable now. They seem a totally different side to that of the opening half hour.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 40 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Steven Defour and Johann Berg Gudmundsson stand over a free-kick 30 yards from goal.

Gudmundsson strikes it, with dip and verve; it looks to be flying towards the top corner. Kasper Schmeichel launches himself and just feathers a touch to tip it wide.

On the replay you can see it was actually going just wide already, but still the Denmark stopper got there.

Just a sense that the away side are beginning to settle now. Much of this half has been Leicester's, but Burnley are starting to show more of themselves, and there's much less space for the Foxes.

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Down the other end Demarai Gray is taken down by Matthew Lowton in a very decent spot for a free-kick.

Gray wants to have a pop himself, about 25 yards out. He looks very confident today... but smashes into the wall.

  16. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Jonny Evans penalised for a foul, through the back of Sam Vokes. A chance for Steven Defour to deliver from deep. Set-pieces can give a struggling team an edge...

    It's poor, lacking power.

  17. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Burnley just can't seem to string a decent move together here. All that's missing for Leicester is that crucial thing.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 27 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Again Joe Hart is called into action, and again he impresses. Demarai Gray breezes through, past Kevin Long in style with a lovely touch as he races to meet Jamie Vardy's through ball.

But this is vintage Hart. Out off his line at speed, he makes a big shape to block bravely and rescue his exposed team once more.

Leicester City's players made that long journey to Thailand this week to pay their respects at the funeral of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha but so far it does not look to have taken its toll and they are looking more energetic than Burnley and could easily be ahead.

Claude Puel's players are being driven by the tide of emotion inside this stadium and it is the Foxes who are making the early running.

  20. CHANCE!published at 25 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Burnley

Rachid Ghezzal's getting involved at every turn here. He pops into a pocket of space and tries a left-foot curler from outside the box that is deflected behind for a corner.

It falls to Marc Albrighton on the edge of the area and he powers a drive that is pinged clear off Steven Defour's stinging shins.

It's all Leicester at the minute.
