Alan: Looking at the Man Utd team, Mourinho clearly wants the sack before Xmas to spend some quality time with his family. Dear oh dear. We will lose tonight and quite badly. Please grant him his wish. These are sad times.

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

On 7 November, Manchester United won at Juventus. It was yet another win from behind that poured water on the fire of speculation about Jose Mourinho's future.

Four Wednesdays - and three Premier League games without a win - later, that fire is raging once more, amid stories of Mourinho's own rage after another comeback from defeat at Southampton.

Now, in a game that used to mean so much to both sides, United must start well for a change against a team for whom change looks to have been a good thing.

There's something more, well, 'Arsenal' about Arsenal again, and they'll fancy their chances of a first league win at Old Trafford for over 12 years.

In his programme notes tonight, Jose Mourinho says his players 'have to remember the saying simplicity is genius'.

Yesterday Mourinho refused to say whether he had called Paul Pogba 'a virus' after Saturday's draw at Southampton.

He did say after the match that his midfield was poor though - and with Pogba dropped to the bench tonight, it is not hard to identify who Mourinho views as being the main culprit.

Yes, Manchester United are dealing with a few injuries, but it just seems like chaos, doesn't it?

Does anyone know what their best XI is? Jose could pick his team out of a hat at the moment.

Striker Alexandre Lacazette, who came off the bench to score against Spurs at the weekend, is among the substitutes once more.

    Wolves v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is asked by BBC Sport's Jonathan Pearce if he made changes with Saturday's game against Manchester City in mind.

"No. I think we need to think only of this match. I changed it only because we have to play 11 matches in 35 days so somebody has to rest. It will be very difficult.

"Ruben Loftus-Cheek has a very great physical impact. He's improving from the tactical point of view. He can do everything on the pitch and give us a lot.

"Manchester City are in another category. We just have to think about the top four. At the moment we are not able to fight with Manchester City."
