  1. Fulham fearpublished at 62 mins

    Manchester United 3-0 Fulham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Barring an amazing turn of events, Fulham are on their way to lose for the ninth time in 12 Premier League games, a run that has yielded just five points.

In addition, their goal difference is now seven worse than Burnley, who are the nearest to their minus 24.

Their next four games are against West Ham, Newcastle, Wolves and Huddersfield.

Claudio Ranieri really needs a couple of wins to lift morale and let the Cottagers fans think they are not heading straight back into the Championship.

James Ballantyne: Fulham, you're making United look good for the first time this season.

Steve Adams: You almost get the feeling that we could be in League 1 in 2 years time! We go down and we lose Mitro, Sess, Cairney, Seri, Anguissa, Seri, Le Merchand, Betts and ALL our loanees. We'll basically have Fonte and Kamara up top, Odoi CB and Fabri in goal. Help!

    Man Utd 3-0 Fulham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

This day couldn't be going much better for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho.

It is only the second time they have led at half-time in 14 games and the first time they have been three up at the break since they played Watford away - the same game Ashley Young last scored - in November 2017.

Fulham have the Premier League's worst defence. It is easy to see why.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Manchester United 3-0 Fulham

The best 45 minutes of Manchester United's season? Jose Mourinho's side in complete control of this one.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45 mins

    Manchester United 3-0 Fulham

Diogo Dalot has enjoyed an excellent 45 minutes, although he has just picked up a yellow for sending Joe Bryan to the turf.

  13. 'An excellent Manchester United goal'published at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Manchester United 3-0 Fulham

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don’t care how bad Fulham are defensively, that was an excellent Manchester United goal. They used the minimal amount of touches, one touch at times, and a good finish from Lukaku. It was so creative more than one player could have scored it in the end.

  14. 'Fulham not at the races'published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on Final Score

The Fulham players switched off there. They're not quite at the races today, they're failing to track those runs.

GOAL - Manchester United 3-0 Fulhampublished at 41 mins

    Romelu Lukaku

Fulham sliced apart. Jesse Lingard plays in Juan Mata, he squares it and Romelu Lukaku is the first of the unmarked players with a simple task to tap the ball into the net. Fulham's defence were sleeping. Again.

High fives from Jose Mourinho to members of his backroom staff. Forty-one minutes and this one looks done and dusted already.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 38 mins

    Manchester United 2-0 Fulham

Nearly one of the free-kicks of the season. Marcus Rashford takes a fast bowler-like run-up to hit it from 35 yards out and it is a great strike. It is heading in until Sergio Rico throws an arm up and keeps it out. Nearly three.
