Credit to the manager for giving so much opportunity to youngsters at the club. Tottenham are becoming a more recognisable world brand in football. It gives fans something to relate to. It would be a club if you were a youngster that you would want to come to and be given a chance.

Will this come today?
Mauricio Pochettino's next league victory will be his 100th as Tottenham manager. He would be the seventh manager to win 100 Premier League fixtures in charge of a single club.
Do you know the others...?

But they do have Kieran Trippier, who is decent, as we all know.
He whips the ball into the area but it fails to find a single pair of boots or a head.

Aaron Lennon catches Danny Rose on the left on the pitch - free-kick for the home side.
No Eriksen though.

It truly looks awful out on the Wembley turf.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche, who has been suffering from sciatica, is up and about from his bench barking instructions.

The teams have come out to a packed Wem... actually it looks like they are not close to the 51,000 capacity they're permitted.
Anyway, well done all on braving the conditions. The match will get under way in about three minutes.

Tottenham's exceptional achievement in the Nou Campshould leave no-one in any doubt they are a force to reckoned with. To recover from such a terrible start to the game - let alone the group - speaks volumes.
Imagine the feel-good factor had this game been the first in their new stadium - as was once briefly planned. Instead it's another weary trudge across north London for those supporters for whom the novelty of playing at the national stadium has not completely worn off.
Burnley's own European campaign seems an age ago. They may well want to forget that had things worked out differently against Olympiakos in August, they would have hosted AC Milan on Thursday night.

Tottenham give 18-year-old midfielder Oliver Skipp his first start - in one of five changes.
Kieran Trippier is back from a groin problem, with Ben Davies, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura all coming back in.
Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min are among the subs.
Spurs: Lloris, Trippier, Rose, Alderweireld, Davies, Skipp, Sissoko, Alli, Moura, Lamela, Kane. Subs: Gazzaniga, Son, Winks, Walker-Peters, Llorente, Eriksen, Eyoma.
Burnley make two changes - one enforced. Aaron Lennon faces his former team in place of benched forward Chris Wood.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson has a hamstring injury so Kevin Long takes his place in the team.
Steven Defour remains out with a calf problem.
Burnley: Hart, Taylor, Long, Tarkowski, Mee, Bardsley, Cork, Westwood, Lennon, Brady, Barnes. Subs: Heaton, Lowton, Vokes, Wood, Hendrick, Gibson, Vydra.

I don't have Spurs as title contenders, they are a little bit short.
The talk of lack of signings, they have been playing at their bare bones this season and have done well.
Moussa Sissoko is an animal, if you put him central with Dele Alli and Son Heung-min as the flair players, people expect him to do that same, but he likes running in straight lines, at the opposition.
The full-back areas concerns me, to get to the next level they have to be top. They used to have Kyle Walker and Danny Rose and were one of the best pairings in Europe.

Some of you, OK most of you, will be unaware of the Chas & Dave-vintage 'When The Year Ends in One' in recognition of the fact Spurs won eight domestic titles when the year ended in... you know.
Anyway, the last time that happened was 1991 - so if that romantic notion hasn't already been ditched, it's time it was.
Spurs fans perhaps have a new number in mind...'9'. After all, luck has been on their side in Champions League, they are doing well in the League Cup and Premier League, they're still in the FA Cup (grasping here) and the new stadium will finally be opened.
As for Burnley, they seem to do well when the year ends in '8'. It's been a very different campaign to that of 2017-18, but perhaps that gritty victory over Brighton has given them the much needed impetus for the steady climb away from the drop-zone.
The live text of this match begins in a nod and a wink.
