You can here the excitement when the ball falls to the feet of Son Heung-min in space. Most of the spectators in Wembley get to their feet as he charges towards goal.

The forward decides to square this one rather than having another long-range shot. He finds Dele Alli but the Englishman shoots over.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 17 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

Adama Traore dances down the right...

He skips around a tackle and then crosses but his delivery is blocked behind by the arm of Ben Davies. The Wolves players appeal for a penalty but that would have been harsh. He was just yards away.

Moments later Davies gets a yellow card for a wild tackle. It'll be a tough afternoon for him now on a booking so early.

This is classic Tottenham. They are oozing confidence. You look at the players they have up front, they all have the ability to drop into pockets and move into areas defenders don't want them to, moving the back four and creating space.

Tottenham are knocking it around nicely here. Pass after probing pass around the edge of the box with Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min all involved. The move ends with the latter having another pop from distance. Rui Patricio is briefly worried but the ball skips past the post.

The South Korean is looking lively as he tries to add to the four goals in his past two games.

What looked like an innocous coming together between Leander Dendoncker and Moussa Sissoko has left the Wolves midfielder in serious discomfort.

This is his first Premier League start for the club since joining last summer and his continued participation is in some doubt.

Kyle Walker-Peters will probably count himself unlucky to be back on the bench today after three assists inside a half in Spurs' previous game but it's Kieran Tripper at right-back today for the team in white.

The England international marauds forward and wins an early corner.

It's played short before a shot from range by Son Heung-min which is blocked.

    Paul Ince
Former England midfielder on Final Score

Everyone seemed to have forgotten about Tottenham and I don’t really understand why. They've scored five and six times in their past two games.

City ran away with the title last year. Now Liverpool are there and Tottenham are there. Look at Spurs' front four – they remind me so much of Liverpool and the way they attack.

Mauricio Pochettino says his Tottenham team are title 'intruders' not 'contenders', but there's no escaping their run and best points tally at the halfway stage of a Premier League season. It's a sign of the standard that they are still six points from the summit.

There's real momentum within the club at the moment as they look to build on the 11 goals scored in their last two games alone.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has promised his team's approach won't change. Their half-term report is a positive one with three wins on the road already. Spurs will also remember being pushed all the way in the corresponding fixture at Molineux.
