    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

Nearly magical. Sead Kolasinac gets to the deadball line and the cross is just a bit behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who goes acrobatic and his overhead kick is just wide. Great technique. So close.

    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

A standard lung-busting run from N'Golo Kante has the Arsenal defenders backpedalling, but team-mate Mateo Kovacic makes a hash of it when the ball is played into his feet and the Gunners can clear up.

Simon: Sarri plays both of his best two players, Kante and Hazard, out of their best positions, whereas surely he should be building his sides around them.

George: The fact that Aubameyang can seemingly tackle better than Xhaka, is both funny and worrying in equal measure.

Aaron Ramsey gets a sweet connection from 30 yards out, but it is straight at Kepa Arrizabalaga.

A touch of class from the Chelsea fans, paying tribute to Arsenal keeper Petr Cech, who announced he would be retiring at the end of the season.

Cech won the Premier League title four times while at Stamford Bridge, but we're only going to see him today if Bernd Leno gets sent off or goes off injured.

Chelsea have no height up front. Anyone on the bench who might fancy a game ?

    Bazil

Chelsea playing some lovely stuff down the wings, putting in some great crosses for the striker who is currently sat on the bench.

Jorginho is free 25 yards out, but the shot is rising from the moment it left his boot and sails well, well over the top. The Blues yet to test Bernd Leno in the Gunners goal.

Lacazette has one goal and has his hand in the air to apologise. He was on the corner of the penalty area, looking for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the middle, but Lacazette gets it wrong and it goes harmlessly over Kepa Arrizabalaga's crossbar.

That Laczette goal has woken Chelsea up and Hazard looks to send in a dangerous low cross from the right, but Laurent Koscielny, at the near post, does well to clear.

A beautiful pass from David Luiz and it finds Pedro, who has timed his run perfectly. Bernd Leno has sprinted off his line, but Pedro is alert enough to loft it over him, but it goes wide by the narrowest of margins. A very good game this one so far.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 17 mins

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang runs at the Chelsea defence, twists and turns Antonio Rudiger and is able to create the space to shoot at goal. The ball hits the chest of Arrizabalaga. Good save.

Sho: Great goal Lacazette. Kepa questionable but it's been coming. Arsenal dominant.

Paul: Arsenal are better team so far. But then they were better than Chelsea at Stamford bridge apart from a couple of defensive errors and aubameyang missing a couple of sitters there. Chelsea are not much better than Arsenal. City, Liverpool and spurs are though.

    Alexandre Lacazette

Absolutely deserved. Hector Bellerin plays it into the feet of Alexandre Lacazette, he takes a touch to get clear of Pedro and holds off a challenge from Marcos Alonso to drill the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga from a tight angle.

A free-kick from the left touchline, it is met by a diving header from Laurent Koscielny, but Kepa Arrizabalaga shows great reflexes to keep it out.

B chowdhury: Why are we forced to watch to watch unknown, unproven players in Arsenal's midfield while Ozil sits on the bench. Total madness. Emery's football is ugly compared to Wenger's, the point tally is the same.

Kev McVeigh: Absolutely shocking by the ref not booking Xhaka for blatant cynical foul. Cheating by the Arsenal player.

Our first sighting of Eden Hazard. He meets a cross from the right, but steers it well wide. The sort of chance you need a top-class centre-forward on the end of, not a top-class number 10.
