Gael Bigirimana's deep free-kick is inviting and Carl McHugh peels off his marker to loop a superbly placed header over Allan McGregor into the net.

He was brought back to Rangers to make an impact and Kyle Lafferty brings his side level, with a bit of help from Motherwell's Richard Tait.

It is a terrible mistake from Goldson. He slipped and Danny Johnson was just chasing a lost cause. It's a fantastic start for Motherwell, and that solid Rangers defence has been breached already. It will be interesting to see how they cope as they have never been behind yet under Gerrard.
