  5. 'Hammers have weapons available'published at 20:39 British Summer Time 28 August 2018

    AFC Wimbledon 1-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Wimbledon are defending really well, Neal Ardley has got his side well drilled.

Manuel Pellegrini won't panic too much. West Ham have been the better side, they've dominated the game and they have weapons available if needed.

    But a big half-time team-talk is needed.

Andy: Appalled at my team. Tonight's Hammers squad cost a total of £150m and there's just no quality whatsoever. Is Yarmolenko even a real footballer? Don't know whether I'm more angry or embarrassed.

  13. 'Yarmolenko and Snodgrass dangerous'published at 20:27 British Summer Time 28 August 2018

    AFC Wimbledon 1-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

West Ham have dominated since going behind and certainly since Wimbledon were reduced to 10 men but James Hanson has had a really good game up front for the home side so far and is taking care of the ball really well for his midfielders.

You do feel when West Ham get the ball out wide they are a real danger, because Andriy Yarmolenko and Robert Snodgrass are putting some brilliant balls into the box.

    Cardiff 0-1 Norwich

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Wow, Cardiff have been poor. If there were signs of encouragement in their two Premier League goalless draws against Newcastle and Huddersfield, there have been no redeeming features about their performance tonight.

Neil Warnock's much-changed side have made Norwich's second string look like the top-flight side here.
