  1. Frantic start at Windsorpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Linfield 0-0 Ards

A frantic start to the game at Windsor Park. Niall Quinn whips in a cross from the left which looks to be dropping right into the top corner, Sam Johnston acrobatically slaps it over the bar.

From the resulting corner Johnston punches the ball clear, punching Kym Nelson in the head in the process. Nelson is dazed but thankfully back on his feet.

An eventful first minute, 89 to go.

    Institute v Dungannon Swifts

Dungannon Swifts go in search of their first league victory of the season as they travel to the Brandywell to take on Institute. It's been a much different story so far for Stute who have seven points from their first four games on their impressive return to the top flight.

Swifts boss Rodney McAree makes two changes to the side which lost to Glentoran at the Oval last weekend, with Kris Lowe and Rhyss Campbell coming in for Caolin Coyle and Douglas Wilson. There's only one change for Stute from the team which drew with Coleraine last week - Ryan Morrow drops to the bench and is replaced by Ronan Doherty.

Institute: Gallagher, McLaughlin, Bonner, D Curry, Doherty, S Curry, McCrudden, Jarvis, Brown, McIntyre, Wilson.

Dungannon Swifts: Moore, Hegarty, Clucas, McMullan, McElroy, Harpur, O’Rourke, Patton, Lowe, Burke, Campbell.

    Newry City v Cliftonville

Newry, who suffered a chastening 4-0 defeat to Ards in their previous league outing, will attempt to get back on track against the Reds and manager Darren Mullen hands first league starts to summer signings Stefan Lavery and Dale Montgomery.

Cliftonville boss Barry Gray makes just one change from the side which drew with Linfield seven days ago, with Liam Bagnall starting in place of Jaimie McGovern.

Newry City: Coleman, King, Noonan, Boyle, McCann, Carville, S Hughes, M Hughes, Laverty, Teggart, Montgomery

Cliftonville: Brush, Ives, Breen, Harney, C Curran, Garrett, McDonald, Bagnall, Catney, Gormley, J Donnelly

    Linfield v Ards

David Healy is forced into making one change from last week's draw at Solitude. Jamie Mulgrew is suspended so is replaced by Michael O'Connor, other than that it's as you were for the Blues.

Ards recorded their first win of the season last week in emphatic fashion so Colin Nixon only makes two changes to his side. Eamon McAllister and David Elebert are replaced by Michael Kerr and Josh Kelly.

Linfield: Carroll, Robinson, Callacher, Waterworth, O’Connor, Cooper, Clarke, Kearns, Mitchell, Quinn, Casement

Ards: Johnston, Kerr, Byers, Taylor, Frazer, Cherry, M Kelly, D McAllister, J Kelly, McClean, Nelson

    Warrenpoint Town v Ballymena United

Warrenpoint boss Stephen McDonnell hopes his side's midweek League Cup win over Annagh United can provide the catalyst to kick-start the border club's season as they chase their first points of the league campaign.

Ballymena have four players - Jim Ervin, Kofi Balmer, Reece Glendinning and Cathair Friel - all starting a league game for the first time this season after making their first appearances of the campaign in the League Cup during the week.

Warrenpoint Town: Turker, Hughes, Reilly, Kelly, Griffin, O'Sullivan, Kouogun, Houston, Scannell, O'Conor, Norton.

Ballymena United: Ross Glendinning, Addis, Mayse, McGinty, Friel, Knowles, McCullough, Balmer, Winchester, Ervin, Reece Glendinning

Should Linfield and Cliftonville have seen red?

Barry Gray joined Chris Morgan and Joel Taggart on the Irish League show to look at the two big decisions in last week's feisty clash between Cliftonville and Linfield at Solitude.

Linfield captain Jamie Mulgrew was sent off for a challenge on Jay Donnelly, but Reds midfielder Ryan Catney escaped similar punishment for a heavy tackle on Daniel Kearns.

Insitute manager Paddy McLaughlin is the guest pundit on this week's Irish League Show, which will be available on Sunday evening.
