  1. 'One in 10 long balls coming off'published at 59 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

Erin did well to get on the end of the pass and get by the defender but the recovery tackle was excellent.

We're just trying to play this long ball all the time - we were getting so much success in the first half by playing shorter passes and getting it wide. Now we're resorting to this long-ball stuff..we're talking about one in 10 where we're managing to keep possession,.

  2. Cuthbert causing problems againpublished at 58 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

Erin Cuthbert is such an effervescent nuisance in the Scotland attack.

The little striker latches onto a long ball, battles her way into the box, and only a cracking cover-tackle from Arbiona Bajraktari halts her progress towards goal.

  3. 'Get back to basics'published at 55 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Lee McCulloch
    Former Rangers midfielder on Sportsound

The game's got very, very scrappy. I'd like to see the Scotland players show more composure, get the tempo up and move it from side to side. It's been , 40, 50, 60-yard passes the last few minutes. If we get back to doing the basics that got us success in the first half, we'll be in a better position to score.

  4. 'We're going for the killer ball all the time'published at 53 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

We're going for the killer ball all the time and it isn't on. They have enough players behind the ball. We need to go sideways, if it's not working, come back out and go to the other side. We need to keep the ball because it is hot and that will take its toll. We want the Albanians to be doing all the running.

  5. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

As our reporter in Albania Amy MacBeath predicted, Scotland have made an energetic start to the second half. They're penning the Albanians deep in their own half, and Emma Mitchell probably should put them back in front.

    Group table

This is how the Group 2 table looks just now. Scotland's haul of 19 points would be enough to secure a berth in the play-offs, but it's top spot they're after.

  7. CLOSE!published at 47 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

Big chance for Scotland less than two minutes into the second half. Emma Mitchell attacks a Kim Little corner, and should probably hit the target from seven yards out. The defender's header flies wide. A familiar story this afternoon...

  8. Kerr calls for Arthurpublished at 47 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

One half-time substitute for Scotland. Chloe Arthur is on for Sophie Howard.

  9. 'We really need another goal'published at 46 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Someone will have informed Scotland it's a draw in Poland and if it stays like that, we really need another goal. That's all the motivation they will need. We need to score because the worst thing that could happen is Switzerland drop points and we fail to win the game.

  10. Here we go...published at 46 mins

    Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

Scotland need a goal - while hoping Switzerland continue to be held in Poland - to reach the World Cup for the first time.

They've got 45 minutes to do it...

  12. 'Switched-off" Scots will come out firingpublished at HT

HT: Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Amy MacBeath
BBC Scotland Sport at Loro Borici Stadium

That lack of concentration will cost the Scots who dominated much of the half. There’s too much at stake for them to switch off so expect to see them up their tempo and push up the park when they return after the break.

  13. Cuthbert chance the biggestpublished at HT

HT: Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Steven Thompson
Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

The one chance that sticks out in my mind was Erin Cuthbert's chance. She goes past two or three players. I thought she might have lifted it over the goalkeeper but she just hits it straight at Rexhepi. She might have stumbled slightly just before hitting it.

The pitch is huge and we're getting a lot of space out wide. It's about the delivery - from a winger's perspective, if we've not got the biggest centre-forwards, you've got to pick a player out.

  14. Half-time in Polandpublished at HT

    Albania Women 0-1 Scotland Women

Switzerland sit 0-0 at half-time against Poland. As things stand the Swiss would go through as group leaders, with Scotland monitoring results elsewhere to find out if a point would be enough to take them into the play-offs.

Fingers crossed that won't be needed...

  15. 'It's a poor, poor goal'published at HT

HT: Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Women

    Lee McCulloch
    Former Rangers midfielder on Sportsound

Sophie Howard has got to match her runner there. It's just a poor, poor goal defensively in such a big game, at this time in the match. You can't take any chances, you must match your runners and get into half-time with a 1-0 lead.

After dominating, it's bitterly disappointing, but it's not finished yet. We just need that bit of composure to create the chances.

  16. HALF-TIME Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Womenpublished at HT

Scotland will be furious. After Kim Little's ninth-minute opener, they've completely dominated this game, and should be several goals to the good.

Lizzie Arnot, Erin Cuthbert, Jane Ross, Emma Mitchell and Little again have all gone close.

But Shelley Kerr's side have been made to pay for their wastefulness. Megi Doci gathered a lofted ball into the Scots' box, cruised away from Sophie Howard, and thundered her shot beyond Lee Alexander.

It's all-square in Albania, and it remains goalless in Poland where Scotland's group rivals Switzerland are in action.

  17. goal

GOAL Albania Women 1-1 Scotland Womenpublished at 45 mins

    Megi Doci

Scotland are sucker-punched. They've had all the play, all the ball, all the chances, and they've been made to pay for their profligacy.

Megi Doci plays a neat one-two and is allowed to run free into the visitors' box by Sophie Howard. On the stroke of half-time, she rifles her team emphatically level.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 44 mins

    Albania Women 0-1 Scotland Women

Viona Rexhepi is having some debut. The Albanian goalkeeper produces another excellent stop as Emma Mitchell rasps a long-range drive on goal.

  19. Cuthbert just fails to finishpublished at 43 mins

    Albania Women 0-1 Scotland Women

    Lee McCulloch
    Former Rangers midfielder on Sportsound

Erin did brilliantly, showed great pace, fainted to shoot, then maybe showed a bit too much composure by trying to side-foot the shot instead of being ruthless and finding the side of the net.

We're still showing signs we're by far the better team.

  20. 'Arnot a nuisance'published at 42 mins

    Albania Women 0-1 Scotland Women

    Amy MacBeath
BBC Scotland Sport at Loro Borici Stadium

Lizzie Arnot is proving herself a particular nuisance up the Albania left flank, but the Scots somehow haven’t manage to add to their one goal lead despite bullying their defence for much of the half.
