Championship leaders Leeds United maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw at Millwall.

Goalscorer Jack Harrison said he was delighted to get the equaliser after being moved into an unfamiliar striking role.

"I tried to push their centre-backs back to give us more room in the midfield," he told BBC Radio Leeds.

"It was a big result after both Middlesbrough and Derby lost. It's an important point, a crucial point.

"We're happy to get the point but we'll be looking to play better and get the win next time."

Bradley Dack on his goal to Sky Sports: "It was a bit of instinct to guide it towards the goal.

"I thought we'd done enough in the end, but it was a great strike [from Conor Hourihane to equalise] and there's not really much you can do about that.

"After we scored, I think we set up and let them come onto us. It took something special to break us down."

Conor Hourihane on his goal to Sky Sports: "It's just one of those moments on the edge of the box. I've scored free-kicks from that distance before and I fancied it and luckily it went in.

"It's been a disappointing [start to the season for me] as I've been in and out of the team so far, but when you get chances, you need to take them.

"We should be higher up - we've dropped points at the start of the season."

Neither side can come up with a final late blow as Conor Hourihane's left boot salvages a point for a Villa side that dominated the second half.

That will come as some relief to Steve Bruce - Jack Grealish was the man who won the free-kick, by the way - and his side will pick up a point, responding well to the 4-1 drubbing incurred at the hands of Sheffield United in their last outing.

Bruce would have been under some serious pressure if his side had lost today.

Blackburn are living dangerously here, good grief.

They've got five minutes of stoppage time to ride, and inside the first 60 seconds of added time they leave Ben Brereton on his own to deal with Jonathan Kodjia.

Charlie Mulgrew limbers up to take a Blackburn free-kick from distance - we've talked all day about needless fouls from this Villa team - and he goes to shoot, bravely...

It shouldn't cause any issues, but Orjan Nyland looks suspect as the ball cannons out of his cupped hands, smacks him in the chin and rolls out for a corner.

Sheffield United's Ollie Norwood, on loan from Brighton, did beat Nyland with a glorious free-kick in Villa's last Championship outing, so it was worth a shot.

Jonathan Kodjia is taunting the Blackburn defence, who have switched to a back three, with Derrick Williams replacing Adam Armstrong, to try to stifle the irrepressible Villa man.

Kodjia lays one off to Jedinak to shoot directly at David Raya, before Blackburn win two corners in quick succession. The first bumbles around the area before Jedinak heads it clear.

Tammy Abraham gives Darragh Lenihan the slip, and his quick one-two with Jonathan Kodjia oozes panache as he glides into the Blackburn box with ease.

Villa's John McGinn strikes wide from outside the box - an instance of poor decision-making that doesn't do justice to the surging run that opened up the move in the first place.

Tammy Abraham has his arms in the air in disbelief and you can understand why: McGinn had time and a smattering of options, Abraham the most obvious one, but elected to fire wide nonetheless with a shot that didn't have a great deal on it.

The technical coach for Chelsea's loan players, Tore Andre Flo, is watching from the stands - assuming he's come up north to watch Tammy Abraham.

He's going to end up covering an awful lot of miles, given the number of loanees Chelsea have.
