Harry Winks never gave in tonight, he showed great energy, that will give him a huge shot of confidence.
He's just gone toe-to-toe with the best midfielders in the world and yes, Spurs didn't get the result but that'll do him the world of good.

Luis Suarez is so different to Lionel Messi. He's that streetwise, cunning footballer, he frustrates you at times but you'd have loved to have played with him.
You saw with the dummies tonight, he's got an incredible football brain and he is pivotal to this Barcelona side.

On paper, everything looks fairly rosy for Liverpool this season. But performance wise, there's something not quite clicking like last season. The high-pressing, high-scoring football isn't flowing and I can't really work out why. I don't doubt the team will find their rhythm again, hopefully sooner rather than later. In Klopp we trust.

Hugo Lloris has tried to overly impress tonight. He's obviously had his personal troubles off the pitch and he's come in and tried to make a big statement early on and it hasn't paid off.

A standing ovation for Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho this evening. Had he stayed at Manchester City, would his career have progressed? Something to ponder for the equally talented Phil Foden.

PSV will be a difficult game for Spurs. People see it as the easy game - the same with Liverpool visiting Red Star but it's never as easy as that.

Pulkit: When Henderson shouts for the ball it looks like he is going to deliver a Stevie G type pass but all he ends up doing in pass the ball to Van Dijk. No vision!
Rob: No shots on target. Says it all. Liverpool went for a draw! Why? Last year we feared no one. Napoli were beatable.
More from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "We have to blame ourselves, that's how it is. There's no problem, the boys did a brilliant job tonight. They tried everything and were really busy, but not smart enough or calm enough in the right moments.
"When that happens, you lose football games."
On the injury to Naby Keita: "I don't know at the moment. We have to wait."

Rob: Deserved by Napoli. Don’t know which game Jurgen Klopp is watching. He did nothing to prevent that.
Elliott: Well that has killed the vibe in Italy and at Wembley! Double strike and English teams suffer another poor Champions League night.

I just wonder if before the game Hugo Lloris had something in his head to be there behind his centre-halves. Of course you need a keeper to be on his toes and be quick enough to mop up a mistake.
But it was just a rush of blood. An aberration. He had no reason to do that. For an experienced keeper it was inexplicable because he could never get anywhere near Jordi Alba to stop him from doing what he wanted to do.

Messi best player in the world? Behave. Always does it in the group stages but hasn't been seen in the knock outs for years...

More from Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to BT Sport...
On Hugo Lloris: "It was a situation that we knew before. [We made] a few mistakes, that is clear. In football when you make a mistake at this level you concede a goal. I'm disappointed for that but we needed to keep going."
On Lionel Messi: "He‘s a fantastic player. The most important thing is why Lionel Messi in every game shows why he is Messi. His average performance is this type of game, above everything else."
Spurs 2-4 Barcelona
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino speaking to BT Sport: "It was a tough game. When you concede in less than two minutes, it changes completely everything. The emotion becomes tough when you are playing against Barcelona and players like Messi and Suarez.
"That is why I want to congratulate the team, because we were always on the game, always fighting, never giving up. I feel so proud. I'm disappointed with the result but the effort was massive.
"But against a team like Barcelona, this type of game when you play at that level, to give that advantage to a team like Barcelona is so difficult to come back from.
"The most important thing was our character."
Napoli 1-0 Liverpool
More from Jurgen Klopp: "Sometimes Bobby [Firmino] ran too long with the ball, or Sadio [Mane] ran too long. When that happens, you cannot produce. The midfielders or the full-backs tried to go forward, but we lost the ball and had to go back in the other direction.
"It was intense, but we caused the intensity of the game ourselves.
"It was an interesting looking group before we started and it's still interesting now. We want to play better than we did tonight, but even if we don't play brilliantly, we want a result. Tonight we weren't as good as we could be."
Napoli 1-0 Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on BT Sport: "We had our moments, but too often the formation was not right or we moved in the wrong spaces. The job of the midfield three was nearly impossible. You have to stay calm in a situation like that, but we were too hectic with the ball.
"We had good moments, but not enough. A 0-0 away from home is OK, but we made a mistake before their goal. That’s the second time this season that we have conceded a goal like that."

Playing deeper will prolong Lionel Messi's career, he'll still score an incredible amount of goals.
He's almost playing as Messi and Iniesta all in one, it's quite something.

What a performance from that man Messi, he could have had a hat-trick.
It's an absolute masterclass from him, we used to talk about Paul Scholes performing like this but Messi was on another level tonight.
