    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

Ben Davies is offside as he picks up a Harry Kane pass but his shot is over anyway. That's the sort of thing you see more from Barca full-backs.

    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

Spurs are simply refusing to go quietly here. They are nowhere near Barcelona's quality but they are showing huge heart and spirit. And are still in this game. Wembley is rocking.

Spurs fans complaining about injuries - if only there was a designated period of time in which clubs could acquire players in order to strengthen their squads...

    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

Suddenly Spurs look like they're right back in this as Sergio Busquets clips Erik Lamela and is booked.

This is the first time in the game it doesn't feel like a Barcelona win is inevitable. Twenty minutes left.

Dennis: What a tackle from Toby Alderweireld to deny Lionel Messi. Wow.

John: You know Mauricio Pochettino thinks it’s all over when he gives Moussa Sissoko a game.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:29 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Napoli 0-0 Liverpool

Mo Salah from distance! Left-footed from the edge of the box, always moving wide of the post. Double sub for Napoli - Fabian Ruiz and Arkadiusz Milik off, Dries Mertens and Simone Verdi on.

    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

Erik Lamela's strike was the 8,000th scored in Champions League history.

    What are Spurs doing!

They nearly hand Barcelona another goal, Davinson Sanchez was all over the place at the back there.

The first thing Moussa Sissoko does is drive a terrible shot miles over the bar.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

Um, a weird sub for Spurs as Moussa Sissoko replaces Son Heung-min. Not sure about that one.

  11. Postpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Napoli 0-0 Liverpool

My kingdom for a goal. Even 20% of the excitement from Wembley would be welcome. Spots of rain sit on the back of Jurgen Klopp's black jacket. Even the Napoli fans have stopped singing.

Harry Kane's persistence down the right hand side made that, he bumps Lenglet of the ball and squares it to Lamela, who's deflected effort beats ter Stegen.

  13. Postpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Spurs 2-3 Barcelona

Spurs survive another Hugo Lloris howler. He clears a backpass before Luis Suarez can get there but then chases the loose ball down himself. Lionel Messi gets there first but he's put off by a defender to deny him a second goal.

  14. goal

GOAL - Atletico Madrid 2-1 Club Bruggepublished at 21:25 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Antoine Griezmann (67 mins)

Clearly, Antoine Griezmann was just finding his range.

Diego Costa springs the offside trap but cuts back unselfishly for Griezmann. The Frenchman's connection isn't perfect but it flicks off a Brugge defender's leg and drifts into the far corner.

    Erik Lamela (66 mins)

What a game! Spurs are back in it again. Erik Lamela shoots from 20 yards out, it comes off Clement Lenglet and loops over Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who had already dived for the shot.

It's Lamela's goal but I'm not convinced his initial shot would have gone in.

Mark: Harry Winks, unfortunately, is well off the pace. Giving the ball away, not winning it back, and, importantly, failing to run with Lionel Messi on the third goal.

Paul: What has happened to Liverpool's midfield? They're almost as deep as the defenders and nobody's supporting the front three. Give them some runners, for goodness sake!

  19. goal

GOAL - PSV 1-2 Interpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 3 October 2018

    Mauro Icardi (58 mins)

    More bad news for Spurs.

Inter come from behind in the Champions League to lead again.

But they owe this one to some hapless PSV defending.

There seems to be no danger but Jeroen Zoet comes racing off his line, collides with his own defender and Mauro Icardi takes full advantage.

As things stand, it's Barcelona and Inter on six points - Spurs and PSV on none.

    Spurs 1-3 Barcelona

Luis Suarez has another chance for Barcelona but his shot is held by Hugo Lloris. Barcelona totally deserve this lead.
